KTM never used the SFS version, only their solid mount version (still using them). The only companies teams I saw using them were JGR and one of the Yamaha 250 teams a while ago. I do not think any pros are running them right now, could be wrong though.

Have you seen the Neken SFS setup that Ryan Dungey has been sporting this season? It's an air-pressurized cartridge on the bottom side of each bar clamp that provides 10mm of travel for the bars. SFS stands for Smooth Feeling System.

I'm happy that i ordered the X-Trig ROCS clamps. I could've got a great deal(670€) on the Neken SFS clamps from my dealer but i went with the X-Trigs.

My first concern was the whole air system and the hassle of setting it up + the risk of damaging it.

It would be cool to try the SFS clamps and see if they make a difference but i wouldn't buy them.

That really sucks, I've had two sets of the SFS's on two different KTM's and never had any issues with either. I would buy them again before I bought x-trig or ride engineering.

That's the same set up we both have. It's cracking around that 10mm air chamber.

Did you get a response yet? I sent one yesterday and haven't heard anything yet. I know it's only one day but I'm just wondering

Man, I'd be pissed if I spent that sort of money. Seems to me like they should be floating free sets with an apology.

I inspected the ones on my KTM and didn't see any cracks in them.

Do high end after market clamps have a lot number assigned to them? Just curious if guy with similar problems can track it down to a specific build date.

They ought to take care of you guys, this post alone has halted me from buying some. Neken doesn't deserve a bad rep. but if they don't take care of you guys that's not cool....... keep us posted

James is a great guy and will take care of you guys no doubt. I'm tempted to try the new spring version that was recently released.

"I wanted to let you know I ordered a replacement for you this morning but it is shipping from France. Lead time is 5-7 days. As soon as I can ship it to you, I will send you the tracking number. "

Looks like their great customer service continues

Awesome, I'm glad to hear that! I will let you know what my verdict is as soon as I hear back. I wonder if it's the whole setup or just the clamp itself, either way that's still great news!

I guess I spoke too soon. On one of my sets of clamps there is a crack on one of the air chamber. Certainly this shouldn't happen?

Looks like they have a completely new spring design instead of air and about 30% less money.

Just shows how easy it is to design stuff that isnt fit for purpose. CAD is great, but only as good as the load case accuracy.
