Need some NBC Sports Gold App Tech Help

Downloaded the app to iPad before first race this year and it has worked great ever since. Early this week I tried to go back to view previous races and when you click on the app it opens to the screen that is all black with the NBC logo in the center and then goes nowhere from there. I deleted the app and re-loaded it and it is the same. Anyone know why this is? Trying to get it fixed quick so I can watch races today. Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried restarting the ipad?

Yes. There was an update available so I did the update, and did a restart on the iPad. I have done the restart 2 or 3 times and have also deleted and re-loaded the app a couple times.

I get an email every week from them and just follow the link to watch the race.

I tried that with the link from last week. It does the same thing, the app opens to a black screen with the NBC sports logo in the center and then nothing.....

On the app on my phone it says "seems your location services are currently disabled ,please enable them to use app"
They are turned on and get same message so wont let me watch away from home. It must me cause i'm trying to watch on 4G, at home on wifi works but whats the point of the app if cant watch on 4G away from home.

Could it have to do with the flash player? I don't own any Apple products but on my laptop sometimes the video screen is all black and once I update the flash player things play fine.

Try that and see if it works.

close all open apps, restart the iPad. Make sure location services is ON for NBC Gold. If that doesn't work you could try deleting it and downloading it again.

Usually closing and restarting the app helps for me. When that doesn't work, it generally indicates I'm in an area with a bad connection.

I'm having a problem with my MacBook Pro, the first three races I had no problems at all. Last Saturday I logged in w/o any problem but when the player screen came on all I would get is just a spinning icon. After many back and forth emails with the NBC Sports Gold techs and trying all their recommendations I still get nothing, no races or replays. Had no problems at all this morning with MXGP/TV and any other streaming sites so I'm stumped as to what the problem could be.

Did you leave the page open from the last race? I did that and when I went on this morning it was a black screen. I refreshed the page and I still got the same thing. I then closed the page and went back to the NBC Gold page and the Muddy Creek event was listed. I clicked on it and it's been working fine since then.

I usually click on the notification/link they email saying the event is live and that works but I had deleted the email so had to close last week's page and go back.

Maybe that's what you're experiencing.

Same thing happened to me, just had to get wifi going. Are you on wifi? I'm in a hotel and didn't have the password in, once connected it worked awesome!! Now it's back to Harry Potter world Sad

Wifi is good and there is no response to any touch when the screen is like this....

Yes. I tried that as well.

All other apps work fine and other devices on the same wifi work fine.
