Hey guys. I'm really hoping that one of you photo shop gurus can help with this. My buddy was broken into and lost about $5000 in tools. He got them on his trail cam coming and going but the lights make the plate illegible. It looks like a late 60s early 70's dodge with a homemade gate. Pretty distinctive. This is a long shot but I the hope the talent in here and a deep seeded hatred for thieves can get a plate number.
Thanks All.
Thanks All.
Not sure what's on the back of the truck? Lumber or ladder rack? Some kind of tall gate or trailer?
The Shop
87 Ford ranger in the pic I posted. Looks similar
Looks to be a single cab older dodge, may also be a Chevy. It also resembles a 2x Ranger in a few ways. Split window in the back, square tubing ladder rack (Looks homemade) behind the cab. With two posts that stick up more than any I have ever seen. Left front running light is out. Very distinguishable ramp off the back. Rectangle pass side mirror. There are no two trucks like this.
This guy is some kinda handy man or something. If he is local you will see his truck again one day. I would also make the LEO's aware of this truck. They account for a lot of eye balls.
Please keep us posted.
If you crank down the brightness and up the contrast on the frontal pic, you can get a look at the license plate. There's just not enough resolution in the image though. Also, the gate runs right in front of the license plate.
Pit Row
wanted : 70's Chevy truck for a restoration project. Top $$$ paid.
Worth a shot. Use a postal code from another town to not be obvious.
I've got a bait ad up myself right now.
What part of Canada?
I knew this would be the site to ask for help. We're in southern Ontario. My buddy just built a barn and is now working on his house. He has his priorities straight. The truck will stick out for sure. We just need to find it.
I'm going to suggest for him to put another trail cam at the road taking pictures of the cars as they pass by. This is a rural road but I'm sure this guy is local and we can get him again on camera. It's the type of road that only locals would be on. Hopefully in the daylight we can get a plate number. 78 Dodge was my first guess as well but the appearance of a split window had me confused. however, that may be the homemade back rack he has.
