Been running Michelin Starcross 5s since they came out and love the wear, performance and easy mounting etc. I have noticed though that the front tire especially, seems noticeably narrower than say a Dunlop 3s or 33 I guess it is now.
Does anyone here who runs the Michelin’s opt for the wider front option 90/100x21. Or does it not make much of a difference, is there a downside besides maybe cornering difference? We ride a lot of sand up here and I was thinking the larger contact patch may have some benefits. Thanks

I would need some testing to really see where each has its merit - maybe the thinner tire would be better in the ruts and sand?
I like the comfort of the larger tire
