NY to daytona/Tampa/east coast riding trip

So call me crazy but I’m taking me and my girlfriend down to daytona for Supercross leaving NY wed night plan to hit a track Thursday Friday Supercross Saturday and then back up the coast or around Florida plan on being back in NY late Thursday night. I guess I’m just looking for advice for tracks open during the week up the east coast GA/VA/Carolina areas or even down in Florida.

Stop at budds, tomahawk, monster mountain, ncmp and whatever in Florida also.

You could hit budds on the way down, monster mountain on the way down, hit florida, tomahawk on the way back up. I did something very similar years back and it was awesome.

Just rode Spyder Mx yesterday in Wildwood FL. Good track nice and long lots of jumps but nothing huge.

NO NO NO tomahawk His winter prep is horrendous & still the same $50. He burnt me twice posting groomed pictures & it was only the front straight for social media. I called him out on Facebook to warn others. He pulled me off the track to curse me out. Never went back

In mid SC we have MotoVated 101 (near Greenville) and DNA MX (Saluda SC) open seven days a week. GTR is near Columbia and I 20/26 junction, they are open Wed-Sunday.

Went to Alma last year really had fun there nice guy and nice track for what it is thanks to everyone I’ll probably hit one track in Florida Friday and Sunday around the Supercross then make my way to Georgia somewhere Monday Tuesday I will give those places in SC a try tues or wed then probably ride Budds Thursday and finish off a dream vacation! Thanks everyone I’ve been down to jwtf and a couple tracks along the way I appreciate hearing what everyone’s opinions are thanks again!

We are from CT and have gone down to FL for daytona. When going to FL we have ridden Clubmx in SC, WW ranch, PAX and Spyder MX in FL.

Last time at Spyder mx we showed up for practice and roczen, musquin, osbourne, anderson, AC, Alex martin were all there. Florida tracks are great. Have fun! Just check each track’s website to see if they are open on the days you want.

How long ago was this? Chad seems like a good guy who is willing to open his facility on weekdays which is pretty rare in this region I feel. Bummer you had some bad experiences as I've had great experiences there so far. That said, I haven't made it down for a winter session, but he seems to post updates quite a bit on their Instagram.

Ended up breaking my ankle and getting surgery so if anyone’s looking for two tickets to daytona I have them for sale! Looks like next year for this vacation!

Yeah chads the man. Easily the nicest track owner ive ever met. Hes incredibly accomadating and busts his ass on that track.
