Last year I watched the Outdoors on my iPad with a VPN. (In Australia - streaming from the US)
Worked ok.

I paid for the SX/MX package this year.

The APP doesn’t show the SX (Outdoor, Ice Skating - With Pro MX logo!, and “Notre Dame” are the only available options.)

I’ve deleted the APP, and reinstalled (From the US Apple store)
No improvement.
Because I admitted to using a VPN, no support is offered.

I watched A1 on the laptop. Worked OK.

Bottom line: Not in the US, consider another way to watch.

Yep, worked OK (not perfect) last year for the Outdoors, on iPad APP.
Worked OK (not perfect) on the first round of the SX, on laptop. (Full screen issues on “Chrome”, “Edge” Recommended on this site)

Can’t make it work at all on iPad APP this year. (Which was my plan) NBC refuse any support.

Being from Canada I went with the Feld sxlive pass for $130US less 30% off with a code. Worked great, no complaints.

It’s just more simple. No VPN bullshit and pretending to be somewhere I’m not (even though that works).

Can't you just connect your laptop to your tv with hdmi cable? That's what I did last year. This year i have signed up to kayo, $25 per month and get all the sport channels offered on foxtel

Check on your iPad if it's providing the GPS location.
The NBC APP will know your location.

Outdoors will only work with GPS ON Supercross only with GPS OFF

I looked through Roku via VPN and it worked.

It's not the VPN IT'S the GPS

A lot of the steaming apps are trying to counter vpn use by forcing you to turn on your location when using the app. GPS is independent of the Internet.

Not all laptops have gps capability so they haven’t required it when using laptops

Jesus, just pay the 130 and be done with it. You are just destroying for everyone that pays trying to cheat your way through.

So you paid the 130 you are supposed to, or you just paid 75? Did not think so.

Then it is not the same as TS... No need for VPN if you have supercrosslive subscription. Specially no need for alt location if you have supercrosslive.

Race day live only, and if you run 1080p. 720p fullscreen no problem.

Some interesting facts here.
I think the GPS in the tablet thing might be the issue.

The overview is:
I’m happy to pay - did pay US$130 (from memory)
Due to some exclusive type deals FOXTEL in Australia have (for example) other suppliers (like NBC Sports Gold) aren’t allowed to stream to Australia. So we get ripped off, once again.

I also paid big bucks (in Euros) for the Moto GP APP. But it has no regional restrictions and works perfectly (so far)

I have “paid through the nose” for FOXTEL before. The coverage is not great. They have zero respect for the sport. (Once with a lap to run they finished mid sentence and went to the next program. (To make it even worse it was like the pre game hot air before a cricket match. Cricket. Kill me please.)

I spend half my time at work, on call, so even if I had FOXTEL, I’d have to record and watch it weeks later. (Staying off Vital so I don’t get any spoilers.

I’m a fan. I’m prepared to pay. I should be able to watch motorbike racing in 2019.

I got NBC sports gold MX/Sx package and use Express VPN as well (Sydney, Australia) and it works good.
(Australia internet is so shit tho...)

The fullscreen issue can be bypassed by using a chrome extension called "Fullscreen Anything" so overall it works and I´m fine with it, cheers!

BTW, anyone in Sydney who would like to watch sx and grab some beers? :D

I haven't purchased mine yet, what's that 30% off code you are talking about ? can you share or private message me ?

I also use express von but I couldn’t get it to work on my laptop. I can see and view all the past nationals but can’t see anything in the full even replays section. Couldn’t get supercross to work on the weekend and can’t replay it either.

On PC you can select resolution? Try 720 instead of 1080p or automatic. It is a format error at least on Supercrosslive when you cast from PC.

My VPN worked fine and I don't use the app, I go right to the website, log in, and I'm good to go. aees, I'm pissed that NBC Gold isn't available to international subscribers like the outdoors is, and I am happy to pay NBC for an excellent way of watching the nationals. And last year the supercross live feed through Feld or whoever sucked balls so I didn't want to pay 130.00 USD for that.

I use my vpn on my phone, tab, pc and android TV box. My vpn works with the gold app on my phone and tablet no problem and on my pc too.

I know back in the day I used Fake Location app for my jailbroken iPhone. Not sure if you can still jailbreak iPads but that might be worth looking into. Then you can spoof your gps location.
