NBC Sports App Now showing NBC Gold content via PS4

Saw some SX ad pop up on the nbc sports phone app about how NBC sports gold is now on the main nbc sports app, like the one on the ps4, probably other smart tv’s, etc.
Has anyone already watched any of this years races on the ps4 app or is this a genuine update? I remember people saying it didn’t work around A1 so I just deleted it but it looks like it’s good to go for the night show at least now. Just checked and it’s showing tomorrow @ 5.
Also, when it asked what cable/tv provider (I have Directtv, shit signal compared to NBC stream) it didn’t really seem to be authenticating anything either it just went through so just food for thought.

Dude if you have PS4, it’s much easier to bypass that bullshit app by going to the www app on the system. Type in nbc sports gold pass and it brings you to the site. Much much better.

Not on Ps4, so haven't dealt with it there -- and I've seem lots of various grumbling about the stream.

But on the MSNBC Sports app on $30 Roku express I've been getting clean, consistent 1080p streams. Rewind/replay fine. Much improved from last year's nationals. I don't know how much more one could want.

I do have a Supercross pass, not sure if that makes any difference in what level of bandwidth they push versus a subscriber pass.

I watched it on ps4 through the web last week. Worked perfect. I tried the CBS app awhile ago and it said not compatible but could work now.

Just as an FYI, the www method stopped working on my ps4 a long time ago but it now looks like we can stream our NBC Gold package through the PS4 NBC Sports App. All it took was a simple activation prompted by the PS4 app!

I'm running the app on my Roku. It's pretty glitchy. Does it work better on the ps4?

I just switched to my PS4. It's still glitchy but not as bad as the Roku.
When I say glitchy I mean, it's as if there are too few frames per second if that makes sense.
