N-style shipping

Ordering new graphics for my bike, and I noticed N-style wants $53 for shipping. I know it aint free to ship graphics and a seat cover but damn. $53 sounds awfully inflated. Found em on ebay, $20 cheaper and free shipping. Is it legit? If so I'll just order the number plates and seat cover from N-style. Aught to cut down on the ridiculous shipping.

EBay is pretty good at protecting the buyer. The only potential problem I could see is how old the stock is. Poorly stored (such as moisture, sun, heat etc etc) or the graphics could have been folded.. Glues do break down over time and you could have a set made 1+yr ago that could produce potential problems...

That being said, I ordered a cheap as set on Amazon from China so it should be interesting to see what ends up on my door...

Assuming it is a year old, would the glue really be that bad? I've gone years with the same graphics in the past, so I'd assume this is a non issue? Unless the glue holds up better after its been applied to plastics?
Mostly I'm concerned about these being actual N-style graphics, not Chinese copies.

Will it be? probably not. Could it be? yes...Odds are you're fine and all will be good...But you're asking the questions and have concerns.

I would call Nstyle and ask if they can ship another way. I live in Canada and get 90% of my stuff shipped USPS which more often then not is 2/3rds cheaper then FedEx or UPS.

That's a good idea, I'll see about getting it shipped to my work too. Gotta ask my boss how that works though.

I'd call n style. They are great to work with. Lol try ordering a bolt or two from race tech titanium. They charge 12.00. And send it to you in. 3.00 post marked envelope. Lol

$53 for shipping is crazy. I thought it had to be some kind of mistake. I went to their website and they wanted $33 for shipping to my house and I live about 90 minutes from their location. They quoted $19.95 for USPS shipping.

You should check other graphic companies. There's so many that make quality products and don't try to rape you on shipping.

Wouldn't hurt to call them and ask if that shipping price is correct or a computer error. Not to rag on N-Style but they messed up my last two orders. Around that same time, I seen someone on here saying they messed up their order too. Both times I called N-Style to tell them about my wrong orders, they told me they've been having computer or clerical issues but both times they made it right with me x2. I still continue to buy from them considering how they handled the mix up.

There is a good chance the API via USPS is having issues with whatever plugin/application they are using. USPS recently did a rate hike (example: one of our brands offers free 2-day priority flat rate shipping...and our cost was $5.80 and now it's $6.25). Very good chance it's an error. Call them and let them know. Maybe they will toss you some swag for helping them. I would imagine their shopping cart abandonment rate is through the roof because of this...

Be careful buying graphics from ebay.... I bought a set and the adhesive was so bad, the graphics wouldnt even stick to themselves. I think the brand was Flu Designs? Luckily I got my money back though.

$50 to ship stickers? I just shipped half a 2 stroke motor from Texas to Connecticut for $40 via USPS. But then bought a helmet from Dennis Kirk and they charged me $50 for 3 day shipping. That helmet does not weigh half as much at that motor and only traveling half as far. Rip off......

Told em about the $53, she didn't know why though. They checked on orders they got over the weekend and nothing had an obnoxious shipping charge. I think my total was about $240, so $10ish for shipping. Still seems steep but I'll pay it. When I get a receipt I'll update what the actual shipping was.

I couldn't recommend Nstyle, took 2 months to get backgrounds from them and basically 2-5 emails to get a reply.
This was 5 years ago and I've avoided them since.

Well I gotta be honest here. If I was getting 2-5 emails a day, I'd make you wait 2 months too !!

C'mon man, I think you stretched the truth a bit, huh ?? Lol

If dealt with N-Style for many years with ZERO problems. I understand that some mistakes just happen, but that goes with any company.
