The 450 race was an all out sprint for 10 minutes with Webb patiently riding his own race and not pushing it and let the guys up front either wear themselves out or make a mistake which both happened.
That reminded me of dungey right there.
Webb also has incredible fitness thanks to aldon and he squeezed out a very impressive second and protected the championship. That was a championship ride by Webb.
Tomac is well Tomac. When he’s on and doesn’t make a mistake he is almost unbeatable. Not the best way to a championship but a good way to whip up on some people from time to time.
Bagget was good but faded quickly. He just flat wore himself out.
Marvin showed he has the speed but the mental mistakes and riding over his head have hurt him.
Forkner is on another level. Sexton is inches behind that level and didn’t let forkner get too far away. Those two are on a different level than everyone else in there class.
Daytona was one of the best tracks I’ve ever seen. I didn’t like the first turn sand section though because it was too thick and too easy for people to wreck on a start with 10 to 20 riders piling in a huge sand corner. Other than that the track was perfect. Kudos to RC and dirt wurx. The track even held up also pretty well.
I will say that camera view of them getting huge air on the rhythm section coming down the other side of the table top was nail biting. Glad nobody ate it right there. That was a crazy jump. I really wanted to see more of a different angle of that jump from the side or behind more. But the front camera angle was impressive and nerve racking.
Anyone else with some thoughts they noticed?

The Shop
Get rid of the football and baseball stadiums. Plenty of motorsport complexes that would allow for better tracks like Daytona.
Is that the hardest an announcing duo has tried to make a name "stick"? No one is going to start referring to Daytona as The Beast. Give it up, Ralph.
Normally, I'm pretty forgiving with the broadcast, but I yelled at my TV during heat 2 when they cut to Bagget crossing the line while there was a fantastic battle going for 2nd/3rd.
Overall, I was entertained the entire night. I was standing up for most of the 450 race to the point of my wife telling me to settle down from upstairs.
I was tired and thought they were saying "the beach", and I thought, well now, that makes sense
