I rode my KTM XC200 and a KTM XC 250F back to back and 4 strokes do suck unless you like to go slow on an overweight bike that does not know how to turn under power.

When you have both and ride them back-to-back, they each have a distinctive feel to them. The thumper does feel much less a race bike and more the road bike.

I think I'll just stick to riding my 2-stroke back to back. Smile

If it wasn't for giving the 4-strokes almost a 100% displacement advantage, you'd still be riding a 2-stroke, too.

But, you're talking about two KTMs...and not even Motocross bikes.

I'd take the 200, in that choice also !

I have a CRF450R and an RM250. I feel the same way. The CRF's up for sale. The RM stays.

See thats where you're wrond...The only reason why u say 4 strokes are slow is because 1)You're riding a ktm 2) Its a trail bike its got all that extra bulk and 3)250s arent ment to be trail bikes they arent powerfull enough to carry that extra load of elcetric start...Esp if its a kit...they really like to weigh down their bikes...

Hmmm...seems to me the reason people are riding four-strokes is because they are turning faster laps. That kind of goes against your opinion that they are slow.

You're wrond about Larrys suspisons.

If a 250 is not meant to be a trail bike and aren't powerful enough to carry that new wave elcetric start, what is a 250 good for?

I may start a thread of poster's names who are mis-using the words "past" and "passed"...it is getting to be a long list of folks that should know better.

I should've known; a bike right up your chute.
250; not meant to be a trail bike; doesn't have enough power.....you're right, it's a motorcrosser.
