Yea yea I know who cares anymore right? Well here is my much delayed story from the USGP.

Traveled out early mid-week to visit my parents who still live in Eagle Rock Calif along with old childhood friends Ed (known Ed since we were 7!), his wife Jodi Jeff and Erin.

It was during the Phoenix Suns Playoff series and I drove like a madman to be able to catch the second half in an Eagle Rock restaurant/bar. They luved us showing up with our Suns shirts on. lol

With the recent event change (in a months time) a Grand Prix Motocross event was held on US soil.
Due to this last minute alteration the crowd turnout was low but that made it cool as the viewing was most excellent.

I’ve never gotten into the US vs Them regarding who has the best riders, I just love seeing different riders and fans from all over the World who have a common bond—Motocross.

My ol buddy Jeff and I have been going to GP’s since the Carlsbad Golden years in 1974 and were more than excited to once again be going.

We rolled up Friday afternoon and Marko, Janelle and Bill were already there from AZ.

There vehicles were there but no one in sight as they were across the way with our new friend Don Cox from Oceanside who had with him some premium Tequila’s to sample.

Very cool guy and very generous thanks for everything Don—see you in Colorado!

Hope you enjoy and yes I need a better camera, I don’t get paid enough for this gig…. lol

Made some more edits/comments.

Also in my rush to post I forgot to mention as I was strolling through the Walk of Fame I saw a cat with a straw hat and ponytail.

"Jimmy J!" I yelled out...

"G-man?"

hahahaha Great to finally meet you Jimi J, look foward to seeing you in Colorado you are one hardcore Motodude traveling from Ohio!

Look foward to the rest of your pics.

LOL I wish man. Woohoo

Takes too much time, keep saying I need to stop taking pics and just enjoy the race but I can't help myself.

I did get some cool video action though...

Need to learn how to get it on here.

Hey Don glad you liked the pics, your boy looked good! Here’s one but not taken by me—not sure who?

Last time I ran into you we were roosting each other at the LL Qualifier at GH in 04. Did you ever make it to Tennessee, I don’t remember?
