Many a man has lost his soul on one of those. A 1984 200X still owns mine.

I wouldn't say I lost my soul, but I did lose a few layers of skin from my calf when I ran over my own leg on one. Don't put your foot down when riding a three-wheeler, folks!

I still own a 1984 ATC200X, but don't tell anyone as it might ruin my street-cred as a 30+ motocross squid.
Probably over 10 years since I rode one.

The 1980's were truly the golden age for ATV's. I have several three wheelers. I am always on the hunt for nice, original machines. turned this one up a short time ago: 1984, all original, including tires. all I did was clean it

I had the Tecates. In both the three and four wheel flavor. To this day, the final year Kawasaki Tecates were the best looking 3 and 4 wheelers ever produced. 1988 was the final year for the quad and I think 1987 was the last Kawi 3 wheeler.

They are awesome, we have an ATC 70
at home and I’m always on the look out for a 250 ATC Honda, a Yamaha Tri-z or a Kawasaki Tecate... great thread...

Great thread. Wish I would have scooped up 100 of them about 15 years ago.

I bought a brand new '84, had it shipped to Guantanamo Bay and made a daily driver out of it!

ATV history is littered with cool machines. The 200 2 strokes seemed so exotic, and I believe Honda had a factory effort for a short time. Tiger made some really cool machines back in the 80's.

I remember seeing a brand new 86 tecate 250 when i was 8 years old and I wanted it so bad. Was the best looking trike at the time to me. Then a year later remember just being blown away by the new Yamaha banshee.

I really enjoy my 350X. I picked it up for $1300. I actually won the three wheeler four stroke class at the Elsinore Grand Prix on it last year. My next project is going to be a wr450 three wheeler conversion. Yes I know I am a dumb hillbilly.

I recently acquired 5-6 old ATV news from1985 and forgot about the really cool 250 machines described. John Neary was riding a super trick KTM 250 3 wheeler back then.

Things are retarded. I'll take a gen2 Lt250r all day long.

The 250 Quadracer erased the 3wheeler. And the world was a better place. People here that love to shit on Suzuki, forget or have no idea that in one swoop Suzuki eliminated a whole portfolio for the other Japanese OEMs.

All these Vitards coming out of the 3 wheel closet.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that!

Hey, we rode 3 wheelers not quads! No shame in that.

That's badass ! I want one just cuz lol
1986 on a 110. Used to fart around the construction sites almost every afternoon. This is where Bernice Ayer Middle school in San Clemente is now.

San Clemente used to have an annual parade, did wheelies up and down El Camino Real on it 1 year.

Still have my '83 200X "Beach Cruza"
