All I have to say is that I forgot how much fun this is. My last time riding a bike or racing was in 1982 on a 82 YZ125 and up untill this week I have been of a bike since then.
All I have to say is that I rode both motos with a huge smile on my face the whole time and was even laughing at myself at times.
But ,man I have to say that times have changed. I was riding my son's 09 Honda 450 and incase you didnt know its alot faster then my 1982 YZ125 lol.
I had so much fun that Im going to start riding again and Im going to try to go to LL next year in the 45plus class.
If your a middle aged guy and you haven't raced in a long time you need to get out there and do it. You will have the time of your life.

Very cool. If more people did this, maybe they would be a bit more happy!

I came back in 2006 after not riding since 1983. I have an 05 RM250 and a couple of restored late 70's RMs and YZs. I race the vintage bikes and practice on the new one. Never did I think I'd be having this much fun as a middle aged adult.

Just remember to start braking for the first corner just as you clear the gate and you will be alright!!!

That's awesome to hear man! Sounds like you had a blast! I'm in the same boat....just hadn't been off the bike as long as you have. I missed almost 5 years , and actually went and rode Mtn View MX today , which was my first out door track ride in almost 7 years! It was my 4th ride since i picked up my bike 2 weeks ago.......and I had a blast! I'll be sore for sure tomorrow ( probably a week! ).....but it's an awesome feeling just to be back on a bike.

Congrats man! And have fun with it!
