I don't know how I missed that in your thread. Seriously sorry about what happened. I guess I wouldn't re-powdercoat. When we have powdercoat issues, we try to match it with paint the best we can. That might not be good enough for you but if it is a possibility, give it a try.

Always look on the bright side, that happened to a mate of mine with an MV Augusta F4 road bike. cost him 1000s to buy new tank, carbon bits then to top it off found out you cant spray the black paint the OEM did it in. Dont ask me how they did it then.

But mate all said I bet your gutted, everything in life is meant for a reason !
