18 250sx!
Both of us have always used castor 927 in our 2 strokes and love it. These new fangled ktms call for 60-1 is 927 still a safe choice at those ratios? He asked me and I really dont know.
Not to start another oil question but I don't want to steer him wrong!
We unplugged the white wire and probably going to do a 1/4 turn in on the pv adjuster to Tame it down a touch hes a long time 125/144 rider so the 250s gonna be a step up!

the higher the sustained rpm, the richer the oil ratio should be.
Thanks for the feedback folks!!
my cylinder was beat, I had done the top end three times, each time the piston was well worn with relatively few hours. The rotating drum power valves on the sides were COMPLETELY solid with deposits. In other words the cutout section of the rotating drum was completely filled in with deposits, s as to almost completely negate the effect of the rotating drum side power valves
If you're nervous, start a little heavier on the oil, like 40:1 and check it out after a tank or two. Check the plugs for fouling and keep an eye on the exhaust for excess oil. 927 has a pretty good reputation, but every product has horror stories, so just keep an eye on it.

I would listen to that before believing the geniuses in here. I think it’s show 336.
Motul factory 800 off road or the Denicol syn 100 both 100% synthetic ester oil the best in business.
Both easily 1to50/60
I prefer myself the Motul is price technical more interesting for me.
The Motul must be available in the US, the Denicol I don't now.
