Finished getting the bikes ready for the 2012 season.

Bike on the left is a 2012 350 SX-F and the bike on the right is a 2009 200 XC (One of the most fun bikes ever). I will be racing the TORN series here in Texas (starting this coming weekend), where I won the Lite Expert Championship last year. I'm moving up to the Open Expert class and looking forward to this season. Hopefully we'll be able to attend a few national events. I'll be posting helmet cam videos on my YouTube channel from each race weekend if anyone is interested. It is here.

Link doesn't work since the site automatically opens a box for a single video. Right click and open in a new tab. Sorry about that.

if either of those bikes are within 30 days old, the mods needs to change this thread to "spoke with my wallet 7"

And thanks BR and dirtnapper! The red plates are required for the expert classes in the series, but they look really good.

So do you pick one of the bike depending on the terrain for a particular event?

I'll usually stick to the 350, but if the track is very tight and technical I will bust out the two honey. Also, it helps to go out and have fun on the two smoke every once in a while.

Makes sense.
I was curious because I have a 450R and a 300 XC-W and the few times I have tried the 300 at the track I feel like a fish out of water. I'm sure I could get used to the 2-stroke if that's all I rode, but the 450 if definitely easier on the track.
Nothing touch that 300 on tight technical trails though...

Yep! I've pretty much only ridden two strokes. The 350 is my first four stroke as a primary race bike...I had a 250f a while back, but never really got used to it. I love the 350 though. It's forced me to become a better rider and is a ton of fun, regardless of it being a four stroke.

Yes they are! Just about the perfect bike for most people. Don't know why they stopped making the XC version. The 2009 model year was the last time they made it. Maybe she'll be a collector's piece someday.
And keeptwostrokesalive, are you the same one that's subscribed to my channel? If so, thank you for that and all of your comments!

Wish KTM were still making the 200XC's (or even bring back the 200SX). They only offer the 200XC-W with the wide ratio transmission and open chamber forks currently. Be really neat to see TM offer a 200 (or Fantic, GasGas, Ossa, Maico or any manufacturer who hasn't given up on the two strokes).

Ah, I saw you at River Valley Saturday afternoon. Actually I was parked right next to you. Your 350 was shiny and clean.

Yep, I was on the #115 Honda that wasn't even clean when I got there. Was a windy bitch that day, kinda sketchy.

Definitely sketchy, I ate it in a turn and jacked up my shoulder, had to pack it up and leave. Wasn't feeling it.
