Nothing Google can't tell you. It has screenshots, a quick search of eBay even turned up some used copies. It was a bit goofy, not a lot of bike control. But you had to qualify for your moto gate pick and it had a championship series.

Anyone ever play Evel Knevel in the arcade with the handlebars and jumping busses?

Here's some footage from a gem of a GP game. MX Rider. I know a couple had mentioned they had never seen it.

Gotta love Everts 111 bike!!! Smile

Pit board pop up, pre-race track walk, rear brake, trackside PA announcing, shifting (if I recall correctly), full race replays, official riders, bikes, teams and tracks. This game was ahead of it's time in a lot of ways. Yeah, it's a bit too fast (as most games are) and the catchup AI is bad but still. A lot to learn from this nearly 17 year old game!

It also had Indoor Supercross type races. Love that close up ghost camera view.

MX Bikes - PC simulator

Moto Racer 2 for PS1 had moto and road racing.

Moto Racer 3 for PC, moto and roar racing.

The super sweet 111 Husqvarna machine of Stefan Everts in MX Rider. Love it. Snapped these from TV so sorry if blurry.

Speaking of Everts, have you guys ever heard of this game? MX World Tour. But this looks like a European release. Different developer and Everts was def not in the Jamie Little MX World Tour game. I just found this image. Interesting. Looks like a totally different game. With Everts, Yamaha, KTM.

It appears the MX World Tour game pictured above IS the same as the Jamie Little MX World Tour game. Just a different cover. It was made by Left Field which made MTX but I remember it not being that good.

Like that PAL cover, though.

I still have the MX World tour game, its terrible. Everts had sponsorship from L&M cigarettes which is why the logos are missing from his shirt, I'm sure somebody will correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's Townley behind him.

My son and I still play unleashed together as well as Reflex, good fun when I get the time.

Strangely enough, I don't recall any real pro riders being in MX Tour. I may be wrong, though. Been a long time since played it. Maybe they just had Everts on the cover but I seem to remember it being all fictitious riders.

I still have this set along with the roadchamps Carey Hart backflip toy.

Couldn't find pictures of it, but being 6/ 7 when I got it, it was the coolest toy ever.

Ah, I'm totally bummed. After posting that pic of Everts on the 111 Husqvarna machine I was wanting to fire up MX Rider and start a GP season.

But my darn PS2 bit the dust...today. Man, that sucks especially to someone like me who plays old MX games as much as I play new ones.

Riding my 2005 Yamaha YZ-125 for real is the best game, I call the game WFO4EVER!!! I also love to play MX vs ATV Unleashed on my old PS2 console with a wired controller. I play it often. I love the 2-Strokes!!! The 2005 Yamaha YZ-125 & Yamaha YZ-250 are my bikes of choice when I play. I am WFO the whole time with a little clutch here and there. I have 4 mint copies of this game and 3 PS2 consoles. I am addicted...I also have almost every PS2 racing game title there is, only missing a few to complete my collection. PS2 is very cool old school.

MTX career mode was awesome. If you could mix that with Reflex physics and make some new tracks that would be amazing.

Yeah, MTX was ahead of it's time. So was EA Supercross 2000 and MX Rider which was a GP game from 2001. There are lots of elements in all 3 games that no one has yet picked up on even into 2017. Fundamental things. Those games focused on replicating their series with no extra fluff, especially EA SX2000 and MX Rider.
