Damn that's quick, looks like they didn't release info until the container was already off the ship.

My dealer said mine should show up in July too. I'd say I'm super pumped.

I wouldn't trust Yamaha's est ship dates. They constantly push them back all the time.
But if it says At Warehouse you should be good to go.

They told me our 125 wouldn't be here until October. Hopefully they're wrong...

Dam getting another fresh 125? Life must be good. Can’t blame ya after they finally updated them though.

I'm not sure if I should keep my 2020 or sell it for a 2022? How much did you pay OTD at Power? That's the dealer I use as well.

Good for you!!! Things are so crazy with bikes right now as in still waiting for my 21 yz250f to show up, yet your 2022 yz250 is at the warehouse🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️. My bike was supposed to be here in may, but kept getting pushed out further. Last update on mine, said that the bike was on the water and waiting to come into the port.

It's a crazy market. I called Power and they will get 10 bikes max at $10k. That is over $2000 MSRP.

That’s crazy. Unless your out west by the ports. Your container from a ship, has a driver bring it to a warehouse. To b cross docked, loaded onto a 53ft container. Then brought to a railyard. Then it’s in route to a Chicago railyard. Where it may b unloaded and put on another train. Chicago is where trouble may happen, I had my truck shot 7 times, container numerous times. 1 tire was shot, because of the flat. I was not allowed to inbound the container. I had to leave , get the tire replaced. Go back to inbound into railyard. I,ve seen containers get dropped 18 ft onto concrete . Railyard looses containers all the time or there stolen. They will be looking for a locomotive only to find out, it’s in New York. There is so many events that your bike goes threw b4 , you get it. Make sure to give your bike a big hug and be great full you have it.

I work for a freight broker and it was announced today that all East Bound rail service from the West Coast is suspended. Too much freight from the West Coast ports to keep up with.

Yeah, the rail system gets over whelmed quite easily. Heavy rains in the east , washes out the tracks. Can stop the trains for days. The ports are back logged for a few months now. Stone Age system unloading a ship or a train. Just to get a hhg and mud rig on a ship is a joke.

Congrats on the purchase.

I told my self years ago, when I sold my 07, that when Yamaha revamped the 250 that I would purchase one.

In the mean time I picked up a 18 new TC250. Amazing machine BTW. I do hate torx fasteners though.

When I read that the '22 250 received a make over, I put dibs on the first blue one that comes in. I can see it now, change the color to white or yellow and add gold rims...

Now I am getting pre-buyers remorse. Has it changed enough to warrant the purchase? Yes it is more than BNG, but is that enough? Will bigger brakes, revamped suspension, a facelift and a straighter intake tract track lead to moto nirvana?

I search the interwebs everyday for a ride report and come up empty.

Someone help a feller out...

Picked up the 2022 YZ 250 today Woohoo

how is that possible with the slow boat ride, jammed up ports and slow US freight system we keep hearing about? were these already in port when Yamaha made the release announcement?

If you liked your 07 YZ250, you will enjoy it. Build quality and fasteners are top notch. With that said, your 18 TC250 is probably a better bike from a pure performance viewpoint. More power, lighter, better handling and less vibration. I don't thInk you can go wrong either way. The YZ is a tried and true package. Sometimes it's nice to change it up and ride something different.

I'm betting the 2023 yz 250 gets the motor package like the 2022 yz 125.
