Well, I did it. I joined the "Century Club". I drank 100 shots of beer every minute for 100 minutes... oh, wait, that was colidge. And I did do that a few times, but, sorry, I digress.
I just recently surpassed 100 hours on my 2017 Alta Redshift MX. I bought it last year on June 1, 2017, and I have ridden/raced the snot out of it, and I don't do much to it besides lube the chain and wash it once in a while. I get my wrenching fix by working on some vintage and big-bore 2-stroke bikes I have... and my son's KX85 always seems to be needing something.
Here is what wore out on the Alta in those 100 hours:
grips (my fault from a tip-over)
tires
rear brake pads
chain and sprockets
chain guide block and swingarm chain slider
I have also noticed my gear is wearing out a lot faster, because I am riding more than ever now!
Love + Trust + Honesty (or an Alta) = Long Lasting Relationship
