Mx Bolt question

the bolt at the top of the rear shock of my son's kx 85 is a 10x45. I assume this is metric but not sure. Is this something I can get from the hardware store? Where is the best place to get one other then the bike shop. This is one of them parts that have to be ordered and we done have time for that.

you can get a 10*45 bolt at a hardware store, but look in your phone book/online for a bolt store in your area, I believe they are 10*45*1.50 maybe 1.25

and i would order an OEM one or two, just to replace the random one you come up with!
