It's edited.
1) His clothes magically turn dark at the time of impace.
2) There's no explanation for all the dirt bouncing off his bike.

Looks legit to me. The context leading up to the impact is typical also--I've seen lots of near misses from speeding sport bikes when a car changes lanes.

That is incredible! Hopefully the driver of the car didn't slam on his brakes right after though.

Ironically, I think the car was actually trying to get out of the way.

You have no clue how hard it is to do cgi and make it look real. As for there being no explanation for the dust...try his bike was really dirty. This is 100% real.

These are what I notice.

* The rider never prepares to hit the car. He rides right into it relaxed.
* Between frames 4 and 5, the rider and bike change dramatically.
* Frame 8, black dot appears to left of car. Goes away for a few frames, then reappears.
* Where does the dirt come from? This is a street bike hitting a car on pavement.
* Cross appears in the picture in the last frames.

Fake!

It looks pretty real to me. I have seen similar accident video where the exact same flip happens, just without landing on a car. Also, that's probably not dirt/dust but more than likely antifreeze from the front wheel smashing into the radiator.

Are you guys serious? Download frames 4 and 5, compare them and then tell me it's real. Thanks for the post to the high rez version, I'll provide better frames.

So, these are the high rez images.

What I notice:
* Second frame, the rider pops onto the screen. Looking at how much the rider moves away from the viewer per frame, it should have taken 2 or 3 frames for the rider to come into view. But it didn't. The rider popped into view.
* Notice between the 11th and 12th frames how much the color of the rider changes. this is where 2 videos are being merged.

In Image 11 you'll notice a slight difference in the taillight when viewed at 100%. If you download the image and zoom in to 400% you'll see what's in the last image. You'll notice here that the taillight has been photoshopped big time! The rider has too as the white of his shirt is merged with the image. Notice the blocks where the two images are merged.

In the next photo in the sequence (12) you'll see that that the taillight was again photoshopped, and the rest of the image is a big blur. It's hard to make out anything. What you can see though are square edges in places where a shody blend was done in photoshop.

Image 13 is a duplicate in the video. Ooops!
Image 14 has the tailight different again. There's more blockiness, and rectangular regions around the merged images.

Zoom in on any of the rest of the images, and you'll see that they were clearly manipulated, especially around the taillight.

There are lots of artifacts in the video where the artist didn't clean things up.
The effect is awesome, but it is absolutely, 100% forged.

Don't feel bad about getting duped. Half the internet has too.

BTW: I see this stuff pretty quickly because I've been a graphics programmer for over 20 years, creating video games for arcade, consoles, and mobile. Titles like Hydro Thunder, and Offroad Thunder in the arcade.

I do know how hard it is. It was a cool effect, but it is 100% fake.
