Tough to tell his actual speed from the videos, but #2 sure looks comfortable on the KTM.

Webb does look pretty comfortable on the KTM. Will be interesting to see what a few months of training with Aldon and riding with Marv will do for him. Hoping the best for Coop, he's had a rough couple of years.
To be taken with a grain of salt, because this critique is coming from a keyboard warrior somewhere on the interweb. It looks like they are laboring entering some of the corners, but they are probably very slick and require precise throttle control. They both looked great to me everywhere else.
Webb needs to get his starts down. He used to come from the back a lot on the 250 and on the 450 that just doesnt happen. If I were him Id work on starts until I couldnt do it anymore then do 5 more. Its a lot easier to figure it out with the holeshot than a 10th place start. Hes never been a great starter and I think that lead a lot to his loss in confidence on 450s because you just cant pass the same. If he can get starts down hell be ok, until then well see. He doesnt need to holeshot every race, though thatd help, but he gets bad starts, that needs to be fixed.

You nailed it. There ain’t a bigger Cooper fan than me. But in the fall of 16 I said if he didn’t start better it was gonna be a long road. He was so much better than those guys on the 250 he could start anywhere and March up. Can’t do that in the big boy class. I hope the KTM team is the shot in the arm he needs. I’ve seen more propaganda in 2 weeks from him I’ve seen in 2 years. Hope he’s feeling it.

This. He can be just as fast as MM25, but that speed won't overcome his sh*tty starts. You can't start outside of the top-10 at this level and expect to be more than a 5th-10th place rider. Unless you're ET3.
The Shop
Regardless, both looking excellent.
