Edited Date/Time 4/10/2021 11:35am
The weather is still showing 80% chance of strong storms Friday and Saturday in Atlanta. Who do you think has the best night?

^^^ Can't argue with any of the above. ^^^ Maybe add Ferrandis and Musquin?

I'm just hoping there will be a race... I can't see them starting a race in thunderstorms, possibly severe with lightning.

This. Last I knew, AMA rules forbid racing outdoors when lightning is in the area.
Keep in mind, though, there was a 90% chance of rain for Daytona, and it was fine. Pretty tough to pinpoint a forecast days in advance in the southeast, especially in the spring.

Peak chance looks to be around mid day. Decreasing after that. What time are they racing? Qualifying schedule will likely be altered I think

Fuq.....3 weeks off and it's going to be a mudder.

Mudders suck.

At this point it makes it very interesting. I’m not usually a fan of them myself, but for the championship it sure does throw a wrench in the spokes to a degree 🍿

I get your point.... but this is the first time we're going to have an actual interesting track in a LONG time. I want to see racing...not slow-moving mutants just surviving.

Since we’re at a NASCAR track why can’t we just postpone it until the rain quits? Cool

Don't really think it is in the rulebook.

It is more of a common sense thing, which is only more proof that it isn't in an ama rulebook

Why? It takes the soul out of a supercross race

I agree, but one has to be ready for all conditions. Imo it shows who the most complete rider is. I don’t care to see too many mud races in SX but they all gotta ride that track if it rains. Might as well smile and embrace the situation.

The actual rule is if there is lightning within 8 miles all on track activity halts until it is clear for at least 30 minutes.

But hey, it's fun to bag on the AMA even if you're wrong...........

The last real mudder tomac and webb nearly lapped the entire field, including kenny.

I think Tomac has proven that he's good in the mud.
I say he wins it. Wet or dry.
