I think what the main problem in most SoCal tracks is that the owners have to use the most out of the land to please everyone. When you look at the size of the land some of these SoCal tracks are on, it isn’t the largest when looking at European or other American tracks outside of Socal. For example, State Fair is a relatively small track. They don’t have much to work with so their only option is to make it more of a supercross style track with deep ruts to please the majority. Everyone is starting to like the jump turn aspect leading to this issue. You then look at Glen Helen, Cahuilla, and Pala where they have the ability to stretch their legs out with track designs to make it more of an actual moto track while still pleasing the majority. I think it’s more of a land use issue than anything else.

Big jumps, don't care really...But tracks just putting in jumps because a part of the track is "empty" is stupid. I want to actually shift a couple times.

SXMX ON E-BIKES IS THE FUTURE. STAMP IT.

The new matriarchal world wants to kill the thermic engine because it is the symbol of patriarchy. I am a conspirator I know.

Was this quoted in 1982?

Not sure where you’re riding but I live equidistance from Budds Creek and Southwick. Tomahawk (WV) and Field of Dreams (NJ) are also close. Sure Englishtown (NJ) is “jumpy” but it gets rough and rutted.

Cahuilla is one of the best tracks in the country. Also RIP Zaca Station.
