Qatar has taken over Latvia, its so easy to do......
Good stuff, Geoff, always enjoy it a lot. Is there an IPad friendly version (or format option I'm missing)? The pages split vertically over text and photos.
Do I take it from the GL interview that we'll be getting some shortened version of the races here in the States on the cable CBSSports network ( which is not the same as the CBS broadcast network, but gets pretty decent exposure here nonetheless)?

Thanks mate. From what I gathered from GL is that some American channels want the Superfinal, so that single race will probably appear Worldwide, outside the current programming of the whole GP sunday, which is on a lot of the smaller channels Worldwide. There is a link there somewhere for Ipad and Iphone, but I got no idea where it is, wait I look for it for you.
If they get a good presentation with fairly deep exposure here, it'll go a long way toward helping to make the next USGP (if there is one) a success. It may only take a season of good coverage easily available to a larger audience than the mxlife feed is going to capture to build that interest.
Geoff,
[b]You'd better issue a "nipple alert" for the UFO advert girl's, [/b
]after Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction at the Superbowl caused a congressional hearing in the USA a few years ago!
Did Luongo say it cost 1 mil Euro for a F1 track, and 2 mil Euro for an MX track? That doesn't sound right
Also, the superfinal does make alot of sense from a television point of view. Although, if we don't get the qualifying races on MX-life, that will be the second year in a row that prices have increased, and content decreased.
"The advantage of our sport is it isn't an expensive sport when you compare to Formula 1 or MotoGP, or other major sports. For the organisers in these countries you need to have a million Euro to make a Formula One track, to make a track in our sport you need maybe two million Euro"
EDIT: yeah, so it's obviously a typo. Was gonna say, that seemed pretty cheap
i honestly was gobsmacked when i read that Shaun Simpson is 24, seems like he has been around forever.
And India on the cards for MX1? That should be god damn cool as sin.
Oh yeah - Eva has a wonderful pair :-)

Just what I was looking for.
Great issue again, great photos and good to read about Billy Mac.
