Looks like both bikes/riders got awesome starts. I'm aware Mike has always been a good starter but there is no denying you still have to have a great engine package. Now the motoconcepts 250's are nailin holeshots!!! What the hell are they up to over there???

MCR always seems to have pretty good bikes. They do a good job and I think Brayton will have a good year there

I'm so happy for TA and Genova. MCR catches so much heat on here, but they had such a solid night, and Tony is the perfect guy to be running the new Elite-Level Amateur program that they started this summer.

Big things ahead for these guys. Congrats to Mike on a top 5, Cam with an all star win and a new truck, and Vince on a top 10.

I just want to say this, Mike Alessi did really well last night getting a top 5 overall and averaging 5th place in all the races. As much crap as he gets on here, let's give credit where credit is due, he beat some top dudes out there last night.

It was a good night for Motoconcepts. I think it is great that they are supporting a 250 rider. I hope we get to see them at the Nationals as well.

Did I hear McAdoo say that Tony had them practicing starts on their own metal downhill starting line?

McAdoo is definitely a FAST kid who can really hang it out there style wise. He trained at ClubMX for a couple years and first time I saw him ride, he quickly caught my attention

Did he take the engine to a dealership to have it pulled apart and inspected?

Yea, because it's Honda Engine Company huh?

Or how about the famous Yamaha Engine Corporation

Or Kawasaki Engine Manufacturering Corp?

I dis like a holes who think they know it all and need to point out others flaws.

I heard he puts a top secret nitrous button on all the motoconcepts stuff, but it is super top secret, so no one knows for sure...

Credit to the Whole Team, nice to see an outfit/ Team without 'endless resources' put it to the factory teams somewhat.... hey, even if it is only at the starts.

Everybody 'loves the underdog' type of thing... and they sure do seem to nail the starts those M.Concept Boys.
Think Vince also started good on occasions? Must be doing something right.

Yeah, Mike shared a video of it on instagram. I think it was the "stories" thing. Had a big ole hill somewhere with a starting gate and metal grating. Wasn't a test track at all, but really that was genius. As opposed to Honda testing starts at the track with a "high traction mat?"

That's always bugged me, but almost every one I know says motor. Sometimes I do too even though I know it's wrong, peer pressure.

“Motor” is rooted in the Classical Latin movere, “to move.” It first referred to propulsive force, and later, to the person or device that moved something or caused movement. “As the word came through French into English, it was used in the sense of ‘initiator,’ ” says Fuller. “A person could be the motor of a plot or a political organization.” By the end of the 19th century, the Second Industrial Revolution had dotted the landscape with steel mills and factories, steamships and railways, and a new word was needed for the mechanisms that powered them. Rooted in the concept of motion, “motor” was the logical choice, and by 1899, it had entered the vernacular as the word for Duryea and Olds’ newfangled horseless carriages.

Mike raced great in M3 and didn't exactly roll over when being passed but kept it clean. On a related note what happened to Jeff?
