Moto-van question (E150)

Anyone know if you could fit a 255/80/17 (33’) on a stock E150? Am I gonna have to trim some bumper and fenders? Or is it too sketchy? It’s a smoking deal on the tires I just don’t wanna buy them and have them jack my shit up. Thanks!

Pick up a leveling kit for the van and you can run 33's no problem!

Without at least a leveling kit, you'll probably rub quite a bit.

33" tires on a e150? I dont think the transmission is gonna like that. Do yourself a favor and stick to stock size

ya what a waste of money and causing future headaches.

if you feel the need to waste your money at the very most you can find some decent rims and tire setup matching OEM specs and get some .5 to 1 inch wheel spacers or something to get a little stance.

save ur money for gas and other repairs on your dirt bike and van cause you'll need it!

Jesus, not a very fun crowd around these parts huh?

You guys would be crying if you had seen some of the other vehicles I’ve had. An old Mercedes so slammed to the ground it could hardly drive on the freeway. It was hardly street legal.

Mileage, functionality, whatever you guys were complaining about doesn’t bother me LOL.

Mattyhamz2, thank you for your input!

OP, I say this with the best intentions in mind but tires are just something I will never, ever cheap out on. It's the biggest difference a single modification can make for cars/trucks.

If I were you and were using it as a hauler, I'd shell out for some nice Michelins or if you're killing for All Terrains, grab some BFGoodrich K02s or Falken Wildpeak AT3s.

Just my $.02, but show us your rig brah!

Had a 2000 E-150 with the 4.6. Got 16-18 on highway with stock tires. Got a Transit t250 that gets 17-18 highway with stock size tires.
