Hardly. Single guy with roommates, I just have more money to piss away. Still a squid, still broke. Seeing some of the bikes, toys, garages, vehicles, gear sets, etc. in this forum that I wouldnt be able to hold a candle to / compete with. Active Duty dude. Airpods are $150, thats less than most people's gear sets...hardly boujee money.

If you like tools what about some quality stuff? Mitutoyo caliper? Maybe some vintage browne and Sharpe bore gauges?

I just got one of these not too long ago. Certainly beats using wooden blocks! Also your not fighting trying to hold an engine while torquing components.

oh oh... freaking love this Motion Pro shock spanner punch tool. Makes adjusting the preload for sag super easy, and doesn't gouge the shit out of your collars like a flat blade screwdriver does... pretty cheap and SUPER handy, just like most Motion Pro tools

https://www.amazon.com/Motion-Pro-08-0483-Shock-Spanner/dp/B004LV2VH4/r…

also, the Motion Pro funnel with on/off valve... allows you to put in the exact amount of CC's/ounces/etc per your needs

Something else to buy.

Totally off topic, but I’ve noticed your avatar. Have you been in the FFL?

Tire changing stand. Doubles as an engine stand with the mini wheel attachment. Just found this out on my last rebuild and it worked so good for the entire teardown and build up. Was secure on there and could even torque everything with relative ease. Also was able to spin it 360°.
I had my eye on an actual engine stand, but no need anymore. Not a great pic of the tire stand itself, but you get the idea.

Best sag tool I have ever used and it was a cheaper Tusk brand! I have the Motion Pro one with the brass tip, but this one gets in tighter spots better.

What happened to that company? That stand was everywhere when they entered the market.
