Help me out here, which brand makes pants that will actually cover my ass crack and allow some breathing room up front? Every brand I try, same exact result, even if I go two sizes up. This seems to be a real epidemic that is sweeping the moto nation. Absurdly low-rise, Paris Hilton esque, skinny jean pants that fall down the second you lean forward. What is going on? Easy way to cut costs by cutting out a few inches of material? Funny how these brands keep introducing all this new "technology" like boa waistbands and silicone panels to keep your jersey tucked in instead of just designing the pants properly. Am I crazy? And no, I'm not old, nor am I fat.

This is how pants should fit, they can be slim and still sit at the waist...

Now we're stuck with this... If he untucked his shirt you'd see his pubes....

Taking inso from this...

I’ll agree a lot of pants seem like the crotch area to top is short as hell most the time, I don’t get it lol

I guess it’s fine if you’re skinny and have a shorter inseam

Spot on. I have found adventure riding pants and denim that are stated as high waist, full cut or some shit. That's all I can wear. My moto gear is old enough that I'm not wearing motoleggings.
Good luck.

Certainly not current - at least for 3 or 4 decades ago - but, didn't Griffs, and / or HRP have high back pants. Though, the 'high back' may have been an inbuilt kidney belt in one or the other, or, both?

I think low cut pants fit more body types in mens clothes because of the way men carry fat, especially if they’re young. You can have a guy who’s 6’2, 175 pounds and lean fit a size 32 and a guy who’s 5’9, 200 lbs with a gut fit a 32 also because the pants are low. Those same guys wouldn’t fit the same pair of high waisted pants.

El Hombre needs a pair of these to keep his jersey tucked.

As I have leaned out, I no longer have this issue. I was 5'9 200 lbs, now 155. Gear fits me much better. 30/32 size pants and Med/Large Jersey depending on what line/brand I get. However my brother has issues. 6'1 250 lbs.

Spot on. I had a set of TLD GP pants and they were so tight I needed to wear compression shorts to tuck my balls in.

I don't understand how Barcia rides with his pants as tight as they usually are. 2000-2010 ish riding gear was comfortable and you didn't have to peel it off your sweaty body after motos. I'm not a clothing scientist but sometimes it feels like looser fitting clothing helps with moving air around your body compared to moisture wicking tight fitting clothing.

I have two sets of the 2022 FLY Kinetic gear and the back is actually pretty high. I also have a set of their '22 EVO gear and it's noticably shorter. The Kinetic might be worth checking out. It's always been a great bang-for-your-buck gear combo for me.

At first I thought I had the wrong size, but the waist fits fine. It's just all wrong down there.

I'm with Snillum; I don't get how Barcia runs gear that tight.

Not a huge gut or anything at 155lbs but I agree...gripper seats and low riding pants and I end up with the back wanting to slide down. Kind of a distraction.

I like how the TLD gear fits. I usually go up a waist size compared to my normal jeans/slacks size to give enough room for my quads (I don't skip leg day bros) and knee braces to fit and move freely. I also wear lightly padded compression shorts under the riding pants. So together between all that, I go up one size. It ends up with the waist being a little loose yet tolerable, so I cinch them all the way up. Overall it gives me some extra room for comfort but not too bulky. Definitely not the skinny jeans look, which I'm not a fan of. For me, it works.
