Pretty easy to just Google "Harbor Freight Coupon" on your phone. Dozens of links to the 20% off coupon and you just have to show your coupon/phone at the register. No need to buy a magazine...

You don't need paper coupons. Just save to phone and present at checkout. Here is the only link you will ever need. It is the Harbor Freight coupon database. Click BROWSE ALL COUPONS

It's my favorite literature to read while dumping.

I've bought quite a few hand tools from Harbor Freight over the years. Used to stop at their store in Bellevue a few times a year or order online, but a few years ago they finally opened up a store here. I generally buy stuff that my boys use there because they still sometimes forget to return tools back to the box. Keeping the cheaper Harbor Freight tools around lets me keep my roll around boxes locked so I don't lose as much from them.

I absolutely love harbour freight. I'm an experimental aircraft mechanic. I do almost all of my own auto, bike, home maintenance. You can ALWAYS buy a better quality tool from Snap on, Matco or Northern Tool but most of the time there's a massive price difference. Things to never buy at Harbour Freight: 1/4" ratchets (the teeth are too coarse for tight areas), long needle nose pliers (just too flimsy and the teeth wear almost instantly). Screwdrivers are mostly junk. The good stuff: not sure they still sell them but their open end offset wrenches are thinner than the famous brands (nothing hurts more than grinding a 35 dollar snap on wrench to fit somewhere). I have their deep well sockets that are true DEEP well. Not a long socket that's only machined halfway. I'm very satisfied with my HF compressor, 1/2", 3/4" impacts. Angle grinders, air ratchets, quick pump jacks, airless spray painters, pressure washer, and a bad ass sawsall. Bottom line....it only takes a minute to figure out what works and doesn't. I don't hesitate to spend the money when needed but don't waste it on a "name brand" when it's not value for money.

My experience with them has been positive. But I usually buy stuff from them that I rarely use, so it doesn't have constant wear and tear.
