As you can see in this photo the inside of a stock Black rubber hose, the inside has a rough finish. the rough finish causes a slower coolant flow.



If you rub the inside of a Silicone hose with a wet finger and then rub the inside of a stock rubber hose with a wet finger you will find that the Silicone feels slippery and the rubber hose has drag or friction. This friction of the rubber hose creates surface tension.

Two other benefits of a Moto Hose Silicone Hose is that the hose can withstand a much higher internal pressure and a Moto Hose Silicone Hose can withstand a much higher external heat than a stock rubber hose.

During the San Diego Supercross 450 Main last year PJ Larson had his header bent in a 1st turn collision. PJ ran the entire main with the header touching the Moto Hose Silicone hose ..... and the Moto Hose hose did not fail.

The Moto Hose pictured below came off another CRF450R that also had the header bent against it. It burned through 1 of the 3 Silicone layers but the hose did not fail.

FLRider a Engine Ice representative posted how a smoother hose flow can aid a coolant with a more efficient thermal conductivity..... better cooling. Engine Ice is not the only coolant company that says this.

Will Moto Hose test against China ebay hoses?
No

Moto Hose uses higher quality materials and a different manufacturing procedure with higher Quality Control to manufacture our High Quality hoses. We will not post specific differences (and there are many) as we do not want to tell China sellers the shortcomings of their product. They obviously do not test or mount their products on real motorcycles.

Moto Hose constituently tests our products and change to make our products better. We just changed the design for the Moto Hose CRF250R hoses so they fit better when the radiators get bent.

Moto Hose is proud to be THE ONLY Made in USA Radiator hose manufacturer.

Moto Hose will not support a Chine ebay competitors sales.
Even if we did do a test.... Our bias in the better quality Moto Hose would be questioned by some so what would it achieve?
