Yeah he's soaking up his win big time, maybe even too much... But hell good for him.

I just realized that Travis was the only one to crash during the entire event. Crashed 3 times I think! No one else fell or slid out.

Never change Travis.

Just got off work to finish the race, how raw and cool the event was. 100% a success. Glad I put in to watch.

That Stanton Bradshaw battle got me in the feelings. Old man Stanton with the whip scrub, YES

I was the same way with Stanton & Bradshaw. Very cool to see them going at it again.

I was honestly happiest for Glover. I've watched that guy busting ass for years under the Dunlop tent at the Nationals, so getting to see him ride again yesterday was a reminder that he was (and still is) a hell of a motocross rider. His tribute to Marty was all class too.

Of course, seeing KDub pound out a few laps is worth $20 to me any day. His race vs. Sipes was great.

I am still in awe that TP got that T shirt over his helmet and goggles.

Watching Travis ride that YZ is awesome

They should make the format something along the lines of the younger you are, the older your bike has to be.

Broc still had his signature riding technique going... 59 years old....impressive.

The only thing I would change... he should have come out in his JT pink/white riding gear from the 80's L.A. Coliseum race (which he won).

I think moto would be a lot more fun for most of us if we were on bikes like that instead of modern four strokes.

Broc was/is a technician on the bike. He is one of my favorite riders of all time.

Gonna take a hit for this....but 4-strokes are a big part of what's killing the sport. Ban the 4-stroke! Smile

4 stroke’s should only be allowed in the +40 class.

As a 52-year-old, I think Glover is my new favorite rider. I'm totally inspired to go faster. The dude seems really cool, too.
As for Alessi, Alessi gonna Alessi. If MX is like WWF in any way, that's his character. He's not a "cool guy," he just cares about winning, any time, any place. He has a boxer's mentality (he used to listen to the Rocky theme before races).
I actually rode with the guy one time at a lonely practice track on the east coast, years and years ago, when he showed up at a practice day. Tony wanted everybody out on the track and we ran a moto, so he could practice. Even that day, racing local kids and old farts for practice, he took it very seriously. That's just his mentality.

I think it is more complex than just the four stroke bikes but they aren't doing us any favors imho.

Agreed. It's why I said "big part" of the problem. Other contributing factors....bulldozer parents, and something we're not allowed to discuss openly here. I'm feeling kinda warmish now. Wink

The good news is, nothing is stopping you or anyone else to ride a 2 stroke.

The bad news, equal displacement in the 250 class seems to fall on deaf ears. It sucks!

A big part of me wishes that bikes today were at the level of 78-79 year models.

With disc brakes, though!!!!!

Where was this race held? I've been out of the loop and am just learning about the race. Seemed pretty cool.

Just seen KDub v pastrana

Jeez Windham looked good and looks like arm pump derailed him making the final
Got me thinking in US terms is this guy one of the real naturals on a level with Dogger. I never really considered him as he never won any major titles ( I could be wrong here )
But to get of the couch and look so fluid was impressive
Considering his age and lack of training he was a joy to watch

Windham is easily in the argument as the most talented rider ever.
