Our vision of what a rider can get out of this sport doesn't always align with theirs. Freedom of choice.

There are only so many Champions (JS7), the rest also deserve to maintain their health and bank account any way they wish.

Malcom may still be riding SX for years to come?

Or maybe he's not into racing in the heat and humidity all summer and not making as much money as he would doing some Euro SX races,which it looks like he prefers.
I would rather see him race the nationals but he hasn't raced a National in quite a while and doesn't seem to miss it.

Who of the haters, have already been to Italy? And this kid can go to Italy for free and return with 10 maybe even 15 to 20k on dollars in his back pocket, I dunno how much those Italians are paying but I know that those international SX races normally pay nice money to big names and also to their local stars.

I am ok with it. It’s his choice and obviously JGR is ok with it. It’s not easy being James Stewart’s brother. Soooo much expectation.

Not to mention I’ve NEVER seen family support for Malcolm. Since James quit racing, how many times have we seen James SR? He’s never been there for Mookie and I think that sucks. James never shows up for his brother or anywhere else for that matter.

You are 100 percent wrong about Big James not being there . I know Malcom
I have riding with Malcom . Big James is always there and has been for both James and Malcolm . There Mom
Was the one who would keep Malcolm straight though . I have seen her chew his ass for not wanting to interact with people at the races. Malcom. Has changed a lot since he was first coming up.

I in no way Hate Malcom . But I do dislike hearing him complain why he can’t get a good ride . IMHO. Malcom puts in just enough effort to get by . Entirely his choice his life .

I raced Honda Elsinore's in 75, and Motocross was not any where near as popular as today!

Mookie finished 11th in the 2018 SX, so if Italy paid him or offered a very favorable deal, CONGRAULATIONS Mookie!!

SX is helping show the world that this is an Epic Sport! Football is lame compared to SX! Pound for Pound SX/MX riders are stronger!
