Malcolm gives James a lot of credit for where he is. He really admires and obviously loves him a lot. He has admitted that for most of his young life he had no desire to follow his brother...and all that he really wanted to do was fish. James was the one that took him under his wing and helped him...even more so than Big James. He is also probably more knowledgeable about what James has been going through emotionally & physically than anybody here, anybody in the press...or anybody on Team Yosh. I think it's a pretty cool gesture by Mookie to give James credit on the box & by making a statement like this. It shows Malcolm has more class than most.

What I got from it was...
If it wasn't for James,Malcolm wouldn't be where he is today & racing.
James success obviously helped him in a financial way & motivational way and probably many other ways.
I guess giving James the plate is a way of saying thank you to James and showing he appreciates what James has done for him.

at one point Mookie was going to stop racing all together to do pro fishing but his brother kept him racing in amateurs. I wouldnt be surprised if James has funded his racing on occasion
