Only $10 for all 2024 SX, MX, and SMX series (regularly $30).
Only complaint so far is.. WHY IS THERE NO TECH 10’s?? Maybe you unlock them as you rank up but idk how they left them out..
you can get injuries which I’ve wanted in moto games for a long time to add a bit more realistic aspect to it
Credits are easier to earn so you can get your gear and parts quicker
The physics do feel a little stiff but like mesx2 it gets much better as you level up, not really liking that you have to do the training to flow better
Boot and goggle selection is pretty weak, no white Astars? Wtf is that bullsheitt?
I’m playing on A 2nd gen 500gb Xbox one and haven’t had any frame rate issues at all
I give it a 9/10
Mxgp19, 20 And MESX2 is a dumpster fire, but I think this one is pretty badass
The Shop
Nothing will ever beat reflex on consoles though
You can probably pick up the first MESX for Super cheap right Now if you don’t want to gamble 60 bucks, Mx vs atv all out wouldn’t be a bad choice either
***edit mxgp 19 and 20 is ass, stick to the SX games or mxgp3 if you go with a milestone game***
So far I like what I hear. Guess I'll DL it tonight and check it out.
Pit Row
I'm on a (xbox series s)
I feel like this supercross game they finally added substance. (Aka more stuff that makes a difference).
I'll be giving online a shot in a bit.
The bike is finally slower and harder to ride cleanly so you are forced to be smart and calculative.
You can't skip across the peaks of jumps through entire rhythm section any more.
The Tuff blocks are way more forgiving and realistic.
First turn chaos has been brought down to a realistic level.
Game lodes noticeably faster
Riffling through the object menu in the editor is better and easier.
The bad so far...
First impression is that it is visually bland compared to #3.
Rider movement is more jerky, stiffer and less realistic.
Bike sounds like a 230L. Can we just get a realistic deep 450 sound?
The tracks look like crap. Real SX tracks are super clean and chiseled looking.
The stadium sizes in the editor fail. The small ones don't allow for a typical 7 lane SX track so they are unusable for replica tracks. The larger ones are fine, But why make the larger outdoor one 1/2 the size as the last one? And how about an infield template for Daytona and the new upcoming Atlanta rounds? After all isn't this THE OFFICIAL SX GAME?
Minimal (and I mean only a few) new objects in the editor.
Can't reverse a bunch of those.
Still has that lame 30 foot flat unbuild-able area in front of the start.
Object menu on the bottom blocks your work area when creating tracks.
Shouldn't ET3 be the rider in the editor since he won last year? LoL.
Summary so far...
Is this game worth $80 dollars? No. Why? Cause it is not an all new and improved edition over #3. It has the visual appearance of a game from the 90's. The rider is goofy and unrealistic. So they went backward here. It is worth $39.95.
The only good thing about this new game is that this rider is the closest to being realistic in terms of speed and ability. Smooth smart racing pays off with good results and a more real "feel" of being accurate on a SX bike in terms of timing, throttle, brake, steering & line choice. I actually like this part very much.
But the rest of the game is visually ugly. Graphics, menus etc. The editor is super limited.
I am always glad that some one will make a SX game. But this is Milestone's 4 try. For their latest attempt I say I am disappointed. It's almost funny. They got us! $80.00 for this game. LoL.
But, I'll still probably play it every day and obsess with making reps.
This weekends track is up search SPX to race it. XBOX ONE
Maybe the MX vs ATV guys got something in the works.
