I plan on taking my fiance to Vegas this year for the Monster Energy Cup, I've never been there period so I don't know whats good or not. What do y'all suggest in terms of hotels? I'd like to start looking into it now, I want to stay on the strip and am not really all that concerned with cost. Outside of the race I'm not really going to care much about Vegas but he might be interested in some parties.

South Point. Love it there. Mellow and nice, but still close enough to the main part of the strip

The Cosmopolitan right on the strip. Great pool, great dining and nice rooms.

Do you guys know when tickets normally go on sale for this race? Can you recommend anything else moto related that will be going on? My plan is to fly in that Friday and stay through Monday, Oct 12-15 I believe it is. We missed the pit party in Indy thanks to the snow so I'd like to make up for it.

If you don't care about Vegas, I wouldn't worry about staying on the strip. Get a place like Planet Hollywood or The Hard Rock (depending on the price range) which are on the outskirts of the actual strip. PH has a younger crowd and it's not hard to find fun, the hard rock usually is a older demo but still fun! Last time I stayed at the hard Rock there was a live band and we rn into a handful of riders staying there after the race.

I'm 26, so the last few times I've went, I stayed at PH as it always is fun and not burried deep in the strip.

Aria, Cosmopolitan is the nicest newest on the strip, Belagio is nice as well... NYNY and MGM you can’t go wrong with either but it depends on your budget. If you are budget minded and still want strip access you can’t go wrong with one of the three Marriotts by the convention center that you can walk to the monorail station to get to the strip... I recommend the Renaissance!

Oh... hard rock is a complete udder dump and I wouldn’t stay there if you paid me. Plus it jus sold to Virgin Atlantic and will be remodeled soon.

I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental last month which is in front of the Aria and it is really nice. No casino downstairs so you can get out of the action if needed. I spent most of my Casino time at the Aria, Planet Hollywood and the Cosmopolitan. Last year I stayed at the Venetian and enjoyed it as well but the room I had at the Mandarin was unbelievable.

I just stay in Henderson. East Side Cannery, Sunset Station or the Fiesta Henderson. Very close to Sam Boyd and nice places.

Off topic, you think Tickle will get an invite to this race? It’s not sanctioned by anyone...

I stay off the strip typically and Uber to where I want to go. There are a bunch of smaller chain hotel hotels off the strip with good pricing.
