rode my mountain bike (does that count) on the trails in the mountains above my house. 40 degrees with a stiff breeze, froze my ass off and ruined my lips because i forgot chapstick. wasn't worth it. put her away for the year, think i'll upgrade to a lighter wheelset this winter.
I rode in my Toyoda Camry lol. It was 32 degrees Saturday and about the same on Sunday. No way I'm riding in that weather. Better to wait it out until the spring around these parts.
Was a lurker for a few years before signing up.......... now I'm signed up but still don't post much. I find I'm lacking in the intelligence department to contribute much.
oh, and as for riding this past weekend....... it was too cold. But, hopefully headed to ride Juniper Dunes this Saturday and try out my new to me KTM 350SX-F!
I stayed inside as much as possible due to the snow here. I did have 3 guys come out and ride In The snow on Saturday. It was thier first time here so I went out and have them all free ride cards to come back when it's dry. I did get a new to me toyota pickup on Saturday. Now I have to sell this POS ford ranger so I can pay my pops back.
I rode at Woodland Mx Park in Woodland Washington, the ground was a bit frozen so they ran a fairly short track which was a bummer. All together it was still a great day on the bike.
Rode Durhamtown last weekend (11/17), rode my mountain bike yesterday. Even down here in the dirty south it was chilly. Mid-40's with a brisk wind. Gotta work all week (with the exception of T'giving), hope to get a ride in this weekend somewhere...maybe Highland Park.
Rode a C17 to Afghanistan if that counts, its cold at night, chilly during the day. But they dont let us see the sun much here. Special Operations Command USAF
Fouled you know a loadmaster named Steve G? the ford freak? I don't know how big that bunch is. He's a good friend of ours. I rode the motovan to a buddies and tore down a 400ex with some bad transmission parts. And watched it snow! Gotta get back down south!
Sunday, made a fresh new Turn track out off Johnson rd in Apple Valley CA. total lap time was just at 4 mins and we had 3 foot high burms on some sections by time we left for the day. The dirt was like chocolate cake and track weaved in and out of a run off ditch that was deep so all sort of natural hits just came to life it was a blast. Going back out on turkey day
I didn't ride. I was going to go Sunday, but woke up and felt like just hanging out. I did get a new smoker (not a two-stroke!), and I broke that bad boy in with a slow-smoked pork shoulder for half a day on Saturday.
Rode Albany MX yesterday! Was a fuckin blast, 50 degree sunny weather in November is about as rare as it gets 'round these parts. My buddy had a GoPro on during our last moto, I'll share it here if it's a good angle. (Only tough part was the shadows. They're not so much a problem in the summer, but yesterday they made a few sections beyond tricky)
Thursday and Friday took the kid riding at a private track that is epic when it rains. Saturday and Sunday was a great time at TCP ruts man ruts for days.
oh, and as for riding this past weekend....... it was too cold. But, hopefully headed to ride Juniper Dunes this Saturday and try out my new to me KTM 350SX-F!

Great day of moto's, Pizza party lunch, and bench racing. Temps were in the 40's... Season is ending fast!
