Jim let me ride his #69 Honda a few years back at the Hangtown crossover event and made me an official Dirt Diggers North member for a day! Great guy!

I haven't raced or even ridden practice with him there in a few years, but for over 50 and slightly north of 175lbs. Moe hauls ass.

Don't knock the big guys, dudes!

My ( younger ) brother out weighs me by 30 lbs, and more often than not, he is the faster rider on any day. And I'm no slouch on a bike.

If you can ride, you can ride! Cool

Nice pictures, Gibby.

I'm up there with Moe on size and when I bought my last bike the previous owner was well under 175.... sooo I call Factory Connection and ask what size springs they have heavier(stiffer) than stock. The guy on the phone nicely started to ask the proper questions, weight, riding ability, current suspension settings and typical terrain. Bla Bla Bla...

I laughed and asked again how many spring rates did they have heavier than stock, there was a distinct pause on the other side of the call and then he said, we have 4 heavier than stock and two lighter than sto.... I stopped him and said send me the next to heaviest(stiffest)... Poor bastard on the other end of the phone hesitated again as this was absolutely NOT the way to sell springs... he asked if I was sure. I replied yes. Got the springs a few days later put them in and in a word PERFECT!!

Looks like the Moe the Merrier fo sho !!!

To the Moe's......that is pretty damn awesome ! I lost my dad going on about 7yrs now , but it had been quite a few years before that when he stopped riding with me. I think I was about 14yrs old when he stopped. And man I can tell you.....I remember every second of every ride I got to ride along side my dad. I miss that guy more than anything. Take these memories and store them away.....because nothing lasts forever.

Great pics Steve. Thanks for posting!
