We spent a couple days in Moab a few weeks back. Wow! What an adventure playground. Single track trails, sxs, jeep, mountain biking, climbing, rafting. Anything an outdoors adventurer could ask for. We went on the hell's revenge trail and was rad. We will definitely be back and rent some bikes and ride some trails. We did a helicopter tour and the pilot claimed he took Villipoto on a tour a while back. Awesome place to ride some trails.

Awesome! I’m headed to Arizona in 2 weeks for a similar trip. I’m excited to explore that area of the country.

That’s awesome Jared. Drift a little farther West next time and let’s spin some laps. We can mtb out my front door as well.

That being said, Moab is on my list of places to visit. Always dreamed of mtb‘ing there.

I was in Colorado last month and we took a day trip out to Moab. It is very cool. I would like to spend a couple of days there.

Damn shame the track (red rock dirt riders moto x) there shut down. Can still see it with all of the stands and stuff still there. Conplemented the off-roading scene nicely.

We went walk the track on the south of town, I'm assuming that's the one your talking about. Good layout but the condition of the facility was deteriorating. I bet in it's prime it was a nice place.

It was great, apparently stewart came out and rode it back around 2010. A new board of directors was made to revive the track and make it non-profit but the city enjoys destroying whats left of the local community and didn't allow it. The petition (https://www.change.org/p/grand-county-council-save-moab-s-motocross-tra…) had over 400 signatures. It kills me because this isn't the only sporting thing that the city has completely killed off because it didn't make them mad amounts of money.

I recently did a solo riding trip to Moab on my trusty old XR650L and it was epic! I wasn't great at navigating and locating trails in Moab and ended up riding a lot of wide open desert, about 400 miles worth in a day. There is also some unreal riding about 100 miles northeast near Grand Junction, Colorado.

Heres a short video of some riding from the trip.

We go almost every year for a week in October... But it's in the Jeep. I do see more bikes every year though. We didn't go this year, went to Tennessee instead. But last year, there were mountain bikes everywhere.

The trails often cross and sometimes near something fun. We all usually stop to watch the bikes and cheer them on!

Moab is a beautiful place... Some of the views are just incredible.

Cool Fact

All the MOAB jeep trails/mtb trails (like slick rock) were mapped and discover first by people on dirt bikes in the 50 & 60's. They BLM prevented other types of use by other off road allowed until 80's. Cool the trails were pioneered by us 2 wheelers!

Thank you! I had been on the lookout for about 2 years... Found this one and it was bone stock. I've had it 1 year now, still more to do.

Right on! I’ll get one one day, but looking for a basic TJ at the moment. My GF’s dad has a dialed LJ. Low lift on 37’s and Currie 60’s. 6spd and an atlas case. Lots of motivation when I see that thing. I’ll get a picture of it later.

Just got back from there just less than a week ago.
Usually try to get out there at least once a year for a week to ride.

This trip was 2 days on the dirt bikes, 1 on a rented jeep, and 2 days on trials bike.

SlickRock trail has a lot of brand new moto single track that is super rad.

the whole place is an outdoor enthusiast's dream land.

i took the family to Goblin Valley (couple hours West of Moab) this weekend and we're headed to Moab in a couple weeks for a UTV trip.

i've been on almost every trail down there, some truly amazing scenery and fun stuff.

also drunk floating down the river is a must as well

Awesome! I'll try to get a few buddies to make a trip and ride some trails. There are endless options as far as activities go. This particular trip was a family trip that my son wanted to go on and the wife fell in love with the place also. We'll be back.
