Awesome news, the guy is fast outdoors when things click for him. He almost won a moto at Red Bud two years ago?

This might be a good change for him. He's better outdoors, so if he can avoid injuries he can build something.

Interesting. Good to have another American in the GPs.

So what happened to Lorenzo Locurcio? Passport issues?
Lorenzo out, Mitchell in?

Or are Bud fielding both of them (when Lorenzo) sorts out his passport problems?

Edit: Just checked his Instagram and he's staying in America. This explains Harrison getting the call.

Interesting. I'd heard from his former team that he'd be privateering here on a 450 Husky. Obviously, that has changed. Smile

He will be blown away by Trentino. Its a great track that is nothing like anything in the US.

Will be interesting to see how he goes, Bud is a solid, outfit, the equipment will be good.

Lets hope he gets better results that JimmyD did at GPs.

I hope after a few races he can finish within the top 5!

He had some good races here, just a few mistakes.

That was the plan until Bud called. Should be a good deal for him. Way better than funding an effort on a shoestring budget.

Is it the BUD bikes that never make it through a full moto without blowing up or am I thinking of someone else?

I don’t think anyone should expect too much at Trentino as he will only have a couple days on the bike. He generally gets good starts so I hope he can settle in and get a solid result. Then he will have a month to dial everything in for the rest of the season. Plus he’s back on Kawasaki which he rode in Amateurs.

No that's the DRT Kawa's. Dixon Racing Team. Sanayei rides for them.

Bud will be happy just to have him out there, and with the big gap after, he will get plenty of seat time. Be interesting to see what he makes of the format .

Some awesome news! Like some have said , I wouldn't expect too much at this next weekends race ,but in the following round he may be able to leave a mark. He can haul ass outdoors , and I bet he takes advantage of the situation. I bet he has to be pretty excited about it.

P.S......Thanks for the heads up John!

This is excellent! I was already watching GP's, but now I have something specific to watch for... Give him a few weeks to acclimate and I see top 10's and even better in the near future.

Good for Mitchell and hope the best for him. Really surprised he did not get a better ride this year in the States.

Great news! It’s always good to have Americans in the GP’s. Trentino will be an experience for him for sure especially on quite a short notice

Cool! Let's see what he can do. Not counting Covington, former transfers from USA to GP's weren't really a succes (Villopoto, Albertson, Leib, Decotis, Weltin,...) Sanayei could be a succes, but he gets injured too often, or his bike lets him down.

Someone tell Harrison to watch MXGP trentino replays. Track is sick.

Well, to be honest Weltin did a really great job. Especially when he went to F&H Kawasaki.

Awesome that he wants to try the MXGP experience and in a good team at that. Will keep an eye on him.
