Had the pleasure of meeting Mitchell and his family at the Junior World Championships in 2013 in Czech, and then hung out with them while we toured the KTM factory in Austria later.... really good people and pumped he took the win in Vegas!
This batch of supermini riders are top quality so to come out on top is a massive achievement

His post-race interviews were as impressive as his rides ... calm and superbly executed.

What a night for the Falk Family as they are all part of Mitchell's victory.
His older brother Hunter was on the broadcast as he was the first to congratulate Mitch and Cindy is one heck of a Motomom.

CT has a lot on his plate, how he does it I have no idea.

Thanks for the kind words about Mitchell and I agree, he was very well spoken and seemed like he had been interviewed for years. Smile

Recent updates on Mitchell. He raced last weekend at the Arizona Open at ACP.

Won nine straight motos on his Troy Lee Level 1 sponsored KTM.

Looks like he has adapted to his 250F just fine and CT brought home some wood as well.

Older brother Hunter was spinning the wrenches and Cindy is the Team Falk Manager. Truly a family passion.
Good job! Smile

Mitch is with TLD team just through 2016 for now. He will be the amateur teams B rider. They have him practicing SX now just to get that seasonal flow going.
Looking to get him signed into his professional career soon

Would be cool to see Mitchell get signed to TLD for the first few seasons of his pro career. Good luck.

CT! Ian Fitz-G here......Mitch kickin ass with the support of older bro Hunter spinning wrenches is just what I would expect. Afterall, hows that saying go?.....talent skips a generation. LOL. I know you come out of those luxary pits to say hi to us now.....but I'm worried that when Mitch hits the BIG big time you'll forget about your local buddies and the only time we'll see you is on TV standing next to the podium. All joking aside, you've done an awesome job. You must be a proud pops! Keep it rolling!

Mitch seems to be making the necessary steps climbing up the ladder to the Pro ranks.

A few weeks ago they had him on the broadcast and that was cool as he went UNDEFEATED in Texas.

Opened up the new Racer X and lo and behold he is in there with his new puppy. Smile

Go Mitch! Woohoo

Definitely a post worth digging up. The kid rips. Is he going pro at Anaheim, or after Loretta's next year?

Probably after LL's.

I know he has to do that road to Supercross in Arenacross and earn points.

Has he grown up in the States or just come across for big races? From what I am reading it sounds like they made the permanent move hear when he was very young, talk about dedication from the family.

No, he grew up in Costa Mesa, California. I used to race with his dad CT. A totally chill family. No little league, push-em-till-they-burn-out dad here.

Yep CT is a very laid back type of guy.
He would be the polar opposite of Tony A, and is very mechanically inclined.

His wife Cindy handles a lot of stuff too and Hunter his brother wrenches for Mitch.

Definitely a Family that works as a Team. I hope they make it...

I know that team has raced the AZ Open the last few years with Cantrell, Falk and Drake. Are they racing it this weekend (minus Cantrell)?

Hello and thanks to G-man and everyone for the well wishes! Just an update from Mitchell's dad here. After some injuries beginning at Monster cup 2016 His contract was extended with TLD so that he can do another year as an amateur and into his first AMA pro year.

He's training hard with Tyla Rattray Between here in so cal and Bakers factory in Clairmont FL. Probably go through Lorrettas 2018 and start outdoors after that.

Showed a lot of speed in the A class at mini Olympics. He put himself in good position to win all classes entered in Florida but had various last lap challenges and came away with only 2.

There's some good pics and a nice interview with him on Racer X. Looks like he will do fine and enjoying MOST of the process. Thanks again! CT Falk
