Takeout? That just looked like a poor line choice going far left to outside of turn.

Looked to me like the common line was outside and he was expecting the guy to take it. The guy who crashed cut in to protect the inside and by then, it was too late.

I perceived it as he clearly retaliated to the guy who stuffed him in the corner previously. It didnt look too late to brake to me, I thought he lined him up. Funny how we all see it differently

I don't think it was his fault, the Yamaha dude went all the way from the outside to the inside, come on.
Dude is a beast tho, hope he gets sponsored.

BTW, this is the same dude that Pierce Brown t-boned, in that encounter the radiator was broken, bike lost all the water, overheated and it lost hp on the next race, ebr tried to fix it but they just could do so much.

That wasn’t intentional imo. He was on the gas then the dude in front broke real hard for the inside. That video was sick makes me want to ride haha

His name is Hardy Munoz, an amateur rider from Chile, South America.

The fact that people think that was an deliberate takeout Laughing I guess it shows who is used to racing and who is not. The guy on the right was heading towards the outside line and changed to the inside pretty late. Racing incident.

Don't know either of the parties involved, but that was no takeout. 111 cut down on the rider with the GoPro, WTH was he supposed to do?

The real madness was golf carts and trash cans.

Track looked real slick. That was just a perfect witches brew for “racing incident” kid was pushing. I don’t see a blatant take out in that video.

Really impressed with the layout. Much has changed since I’ve raced there. Seems more safe and mellow with multiple line choices.

There's an edited clip on instagram that makes it look like a takeout, but after watching this the dude on the Yamaha cut across from way outside to inside, straight across this kids line... not an intentional takeout.

I'm not sure if anyone criticizing Munoz has come into a corner as fast as he did and have tried slamming the brakes in breaking bumps at that speed. You don't stop as quickly as you think. The Yamaha he clipped cut into the inside rut pretty quick not expecting Munoz to be there on his inside. It was just a racing incident.

If anything the guy on the Yamaha might have brake checked him so they hit or he misjudged the Yamaha guys speed cause he hit his back tire. The guy with the gropro was no way slowing enough to carve the inside of that turn. If you watch the video the guy with the gopro made a few other turns were he came in tight and then drifted to the outside on the exit.

I also think he was far enough back to see the Yamaha cutting in to the inside of the corner, it wasn't really an abrupt turn in.

Don't think you do something like that intentional. The risk of him crashing in the process was pretty high. This time he was lucky to stay up though.

MINI 'OS 2018 COMMUNIQUE

First of all I want to tell you that we are very happy and satisfied with the results obtained in the recently passed Mini, as it is our first year in the PRO category and also one of the first races that makes hardy in this category, it is also first race with a motorcycle Factory, something new for him. He was on the podium three times in the Supercross, 3rd place in 250 PRO SPORT, 2nd place in 250 A and 1st place in 450 A, with his Husqvarna 250cc motorcycle in all categories, which was prepared by EBR PERFORMANCE.
Unfortunately the crash caused by the pilot KTM REDBULL TROY LEE Pierce Brown left Hardy's motorcycle with several damages, among which is the breakage of the exhaust and radiator causing the latter to lose all the water in the rest of that sleeve, this made Hardy had to run the motocross with a motorcycle that had already lost much of the additional power that gives a prepared engine, because although the engine was intervened by the EBR PERFORMANCE team could not reach the initial power for lack of time.
In the same way Hardy could achieve a 4th and 5th place in 250A and 450 PRO SPORT respectively. It should be noted that thank God Hardy did not have an injury as a result of the aforementioned crash, unfortunately this situation with Pierce Brown made Hardy run the rest of the event very defensively to avoid being hit again. Personally I can tell you that we are back home very satisfied because the EBR PERFORMANCE team, which is sponsoring Hardy with the engine and suspensions, was very pleased with the results and that will surely open new opportunities for Hardy.

I remember racing before everybody had a go pro.

There was no such thing as a take out.

There was racing, and sometimes there was contact, especially if a rider lacked situational awareness.

For sure..my gawd.

I don’t’ even think the obstacles were designed to be tripled.

Pierce brown sounds like he won the mental game for the rest of the week after that racing incident.

“ Pierce Brown made Hardy run the rest of the event very defensively to avoid being hit again.”

Nobody makes anyone do anytning.....it’s all on you. From the pics it looks like those two were having a helluva race!
