Does anyone else out there think that Canard was being very, VERY nice to Mr Milsaps ?He got lapper blocked twice, and put it right back on 118's rear wheel. To me and I am sure many others watching, Turbo Trey got a second saturday night.

I checked the results. Trey got third.

Imaginary scoring? He got first-and-a-half.

Yeah, I'll go with Spinner on this one regarding the nickname.

Yea, that was awesome that lapped riders get into the race with the riders when their being over taken. Lapped rider that battle with the leaders, block the riders on the lead lap and race while under the blue flag makes for better racing.

If riders that are on the lead lap are lapping slower riders and a lapped rider blocks them or attempts to race with the leaders the riders on the lead lap should knock the lapped riders down or at least knock them off the track. If the riders who are lapping other riders are so good, they should clean the lapped riders out. That way we would see much more carnage during the races.

It's called racing right? Let the riders take care of themselves and screw that stupid blue flag.

Plus it would make for better TV.

I think Trey could have gone around Davey. But he didn't and he got third. End of story.

That was my thought as soon as the race ended. Next year it will be different.

Trey could have gotten 1st if Millsaps and Dungey had a Reflex tournament to attend to...Laughing

Even if Trey did hold back, Millsaps was killing it in Dallas after that nasty get off last week. I hope he keeps it up.

Millsaps was killin it but I also think bein teammates may have played a part. A part-timer takin out a full-timer would not sit well with management.

why are you guys trying to dumb down the intelligence level here with baseless speculation that Trey let 18 win?

The race ran 20 laps and it was over

I didnt say he let him win, I just think had they not been teammates Trey may have ran it in a little bit harder on the couple chances he had.

It looked like to me he was trying as hard as he could to catch Millsaps but anytime he got close he would make a mistake.

Like I said before, Millsaps is beat up big time. The guy doesn't ride during the week comes out and gets a solid 2nd. Just wait till he is healthy. He still has a lot to show everyone. If he keeps moving forward, a different Honda rider will be looking for a ride. Compare upside/talent to results. Canard and Davi might be big red teammates.

That's one way of puting it, I say Trey was being very very nice and if that bike was a different color we would be talking about Trey Canard's second in Texas this past weekend. As forDavey being beat up, and not riding and all that jazz...This is Motocross, Your always banged up or have some type of issue. Taking a week off riding doesn't make a damn bit of difference to your results the following weekend IMO but it can sure be used as an excuse.

Everyone is always hammering on Millsaps but you gotta admit, he is right up there every week. He's having a great season. Obviously something is missing in his program or he would be with Dungey and Poto every week.

I would love to see him teamup with Stewart and ride and train with him or go to back Suzuki and surrender himself to do RC's program. Won't happen.

"Trey Magnifique" best name bar none. Better than the name I came up with "Tracheotomy"

Munsch, there is a very big difference in being healthy, and hurt. Two banged up shoulders, a back and not riding for a week does make a difference. Maybe you would like to think Canard was going to get around no matter what. The reality is he didn't. I like them both, so I dont have a preference.

Looked like Trey was pushing DaviTrain. Just like when you ride with your buds. Trey knew he wasnt fighting for anything other then Kudos from Team Honda. Any error would have been costly for both. I feel Trey could have done it, he was comfortable and safe in third. Ready to go back to the Lites and show them what he learned on vacation.
