Separating the men from the boys and the boys from their bikes!!! Only 27 riders finish the second 450 moto. Is the track that brutal? It really looks like it's developed alot of square edges and kickers. This track has really tested the riders today.

It was a meat grinder during Amateurs this week too. But it kinda always does. The jumps on that track get bigger every year but they are still made of sand so they deteriorate pretty bad.

Wait, I thought Supercross was responsible for all the injuries. /sarcasm

Talking with a few riders today, the whoops were apparently a lot further apart than usual. Skimming wasn't an option, doubling was only available occasionally. Mostly it was slamming face-to-face-to-face. That was taxing.

Exactly Steve...The whoop section really looked like it was tough to get a rhythm through them, I noticed the front runners trying to manual them as best they could and jump when it was possible. I also saw quite a few guys as they got tired toward the ends of the motos as they slammed from whoop to whoop with an occasional complete whiplashing drop to the bottom of the deep pockets. From what I could see the track as a whole was became littered with rutted and square edged kickers on the jump faces and was chewed into oblivion beyond any other track on the tour this year. A real mans track!!
