As mentioned in another thread...not bad for a 6 year old platform. Dont fix it if it ain't broke

All of those bikes are plenty fast. The factories spend all of there moneey fine tuning the power. They make it super broad an usable. From what I have read/understand. Davi is similar to Windham. They like there power snappy with a ton of bottom end. The bike wins through all of the testing on chassis and suspension. Millsaps looked great. Super pumped for him and the more parity jn the series the better. Last night as usual proved nothing except the fact that, the series will be bad ass

if you look at all the recent factory EFI RMZ450s,they have always run a different oil filter setup, ive noticed the RCH bikes are running them too, but Davi's bike runs the round one like OEM.

The motors are done in-house by the Rockstar team.

Unless I'm blind, other than on the Hinson clutch cover I don't see any Suzuki logos on Millsaps bike. Are they getting factory support?

Last year 800 and this year 18? If this is the case they're not very good at picking them, are they?

In the era of electronic engine management systems, you can stare at the outside of the bike all day and learn absolutely nothing about it. And if MXA tests the bike, there is no guarantee that the electronics are the same ones that Davi used. Modern four strokes are total black boxes. Nobody knows what's inside.

Who knows the bike looked very responsive with milsaps size and I only have connections with moto concepts i havent done any suzuki engine development on the 450 for any body but them .1 of 3 moto concepts heads that were recently developed did become unavaiable for a few days while having some machine work performed on it .Honda had 1 of my special heads for only 1 day and it got digitized .Weston did very well on the MB1 team and that suzuki is pretty much stock.

thing sounded torquey as hell, wheely'ing out of corners at low to mid.

Loved the way he threw that baby into corners and it responded quickly. (on tv, mind you...Wink )

Totally in-house motor built with parts developed by and for the Team...just like their 250s.

It's not just a bunch of power: it's tractable power w/ plenty of torque...built to what Davi wants & needs.

Then there's the chassis: In-house developed geometry w/ Showa Kit stuff, again, a lot like their 250s.

This Team does it right.

I heard factory Suzuki swapped the pull rods and adjusted the clickers for him.

If I am not mistaken they have cut half of the waffeling off of his grips as well. whatever they did, cut the waffeling or replaced the grips entirely, it seems to be working
