What exactly don't you like about it? The graphics? The helmet shape/design?

Visor and mouthpiece shape.

It's a nice helmet though it just looks it hasn't really progressed much in the looks department.

The graphics are nice, but the visor shape looks a bit like JT's open face design from the 80s.

I gotta admit, I do like the colorway and graphics. The helmet though (not the visor) seems very reminiscent of a Bell Moto 4 to me.

DUDE....I think that's a good looking helmet right there! Yes it's reminiscent of the 80's but the 80's are so "IN" right now...I was at Disneyland over the weekend and I saw sooo many teenagers that were dressed like Punky Brewster...it was crazy. The JT gear looks good and I bet the Black/Yellow starts popping up around tracks now that Alessi is sporting it.

The team calls them MCR 250s and MCR 450s. Not so much emphasis on the bike brand.

Does that rule them out of contingency $$ ( If Suzuki has any ) ??

Looks to me like a modern take on TUF racing. Unsure *the bike that is.

Not sure. They're not trying to be militant about it (stripping all brand ID off the bike), but if they were given the chance, having MCR rather than the usual brand designation is how they'd like to fill in their entry forms, and want the results to reflect.

Uh oh... I'd guess no contingency money if that's the case.

Guess only of course. But leave it to the Alessi's to push the envelope I suppose... Cool! Smile

If MCR is buying all their bikes and parts then I don't blame them for emphasizing their own brand.

To me, running multiple brands under one tent seems like a lot more work- you can't stock common parts for all your bikes. To have spares for everything takes more time, money and space.

As far as contingency, read the fine print from the OEM. But I think you can change the color and remove logos and still collect contingency money.

Cool Lid, and the Bike looks awesome!!
Can't wait to see how he does on it this season. Guarantee he will do better riding a Suzuki.

i think mikey and crew can do with out the miniscule dollars (in comparison) to have "their" machine out there. i think thats the point.

and the paint on the helmet is neat, but looks too "old" overall IMO

I think it looks great! The thing doesn't look like the other things written above IMHO... It looks like a fuggin JT helmet, like it should. I understand the other partner is in the helmet industry, like that's his job... And he's darn good IMO.
