So i have the bike to the frame and i’d like to give it a good cleaning but really don’t wanna lose the red pro sticker. Anyone ever had one remade and if so who was able to do it?

I was at the Hangtown race in '05, and can say Mike endured a bit of a baptism by fire at that event. The wheels didn't fall off, but other stuff did as some of the photos below will demonstrate. I happened to have my Brownie camera with me (see what I did there?), and took a few pix of both the good and the bad day he had. Stickers, a seat and side panels suggest Mike might have been selling parts out on the track to finance the new privateer gig...

this is so awesome. i love these pictures, mike is a hometown hero. He showed up at the last muddy creek and just waxed everyone, when i told my girl friend he was 49 she was blown away.

Procircuit was building his bikes, he won Some Motos and races at the starting of the year and leading the points but then started to really fall off the pace after half way through the season and blamed procircuit and Mitch not wanting to give him a fast motor anymore. Said they didn’t want him beating their guys .
Not sure they “said” anything, hell they never admitted it.

Pretty cool, I had an 05' crf250, I think I had 3 valve jobs done on it in 1 season of racing worcs and riding a lot of offroad, that was an expensive/awful bike imo
Lol, tell us how you really feel! OP, I guess it wouldn’t hurt to send the head out to fastheads in St. George Utah. They are really good with Honda’s

Also why would Mitch intentionally sell a shitty product ? That’s just bad marketing

Because Kawasaki paid him a lot more money to win races than Mike Brown. That's why they eventually stopped building Troy Lee's bikes.

Also didn’t Gieco use PC when Trey won the title in 2010? Against Pourcel?
Yes and Barcia 2011 East SX was on PC product too.

The bike is alive, during disassembly i never found one thing wrong with the bike. I had to put the bike back into time and while the the cylinder head cover was off i was amazed at how clean it was. Put it all back together in time with a fresh spark plug and fluids and it started right up! I currently have the bike for sale because the profit would be very nice considering I only paid 500$ for it but i’m debating just keeping it and building it back to what Mike raced in 05’. Would their be any way of finding out at what race the bike was at? I was thinking the inspection sticker might be the answer but have no idea how to find any info out!

I love when someone who knows what they're talking about jumps on here and sets shit straight.
