Just so I'm clear, MW was burnt out on the road and chose to quite so he could open his own suspension shop called "77 Shock Changes", am I reading the tea leaves correct?

In the old days of CART/IndyCar, the "second' driver on the team was the test mule. He pounded laps with new or experimental settings etc and the team would incorporate those findings into the setup for both drivers.

He also said weimer could ride whatever he wanted. I dont buy it. That hurts his credibility imo.

What people are missing is MW said riders like RC and RV and JS. When the gate dropped they rode whatever the bike was, as it was. Winning was the goal.
