I gotta say Mike seems like one of the coolest guys to ever come through this sport. I’ve never seen footage of him not absolutely giving it everything and enjoying every second of it. Growing up he always struck me as someone who could pull off the hard core stuff but still be a good person and have a solid attitude. Definitely not a book to judge by the cover.

I feel like his jump really didn’t get the credit it deserves, especially considering it was over 10 years ago! Not taking anything away from TP, just think Metz doesn’t get a proportional amount of recognition.

Well I meant what track? haha I was talking about him riding at Connondale in the mid to late 90's! Like before he was THE Mike Metzger haha It was around the time of those first photos of him doing tricks and he was on that NCY team and remembering those photos he was on a 94-95 model..

I only remember cause he was in magazines and shit but he didn't actually go that good haha

He raced a Brisbane supercross at Archerfield. Maybe 99-2000.

Think I had a photo of him on a CDR Yamaha wearing some ridiculous 90's-2000's shades and that was in Sydney or Melbourne.
