Someone is passing up the deal of a lifetime. Two very accomplished and determined racers are still without rides for 2009. Although they are two separate and distinct individuals, they are able to compete in the same class and on the same team without conflict. Either one, or both would be an asset to any team.

I believe their records speak for themselves. Both have had top 10 finishes in both MX and SX this year. They are both skilled in all areas of dirt bike racing (i.e. motocross, supercross, arenacross). Given the right equipment and the opportunity they both have podium potential.

PM me for more information.

I know YOT still has one spot open, maybe you can sell them as a package deal; you know, buy one get one free.

I have only known them for a few months now, but they are two of the hardest working, naturally talented riders out there. They bust there ass and practice all the time hoping to one day be the best out there. If they ended up on some great equipment there results would definitely show.

They should try north of the border or the GPs!

I wish everyone on the gate for a SX and at minimum 30 deep at a national were on a free bike with travel reimbursement.

But sadly that ain't the case and it ain't gonna be in '09 either.

The Blose Brothers are just two of many who are gonna be riding on Visa or Mastercard

Bring back heat races and kill timed qualy. Have the heat races pay money to the winners and placers. Drop the entry fees and mechanics pass fee's, parking fee's and let the entrants eat the catered food that the AMA officials eat.

You people running these events know that the Yankees and the Red Sox SHARE THEIR REVENUES with the rest of the leauge?

Chris and Mike were sharing Chris's yz 125 and crf 450. They got screwed out of a deal so there sharing bikes right now. We went to the Grindingstone track by Fort Mcdowell casino. PRIMO!!! Easily the best track in the Phoenix area right now.

How did they get screwed out?

Did another rider get screwed in?

It's a gamble for the sponsors on who to sponsor in the 2nd ten or 15?

All I will say is this....

A team manager should never give a negotiated contract to a rider to sign or make promises they never intend to keep. Then pull the offer, after a rider has already signed it, and hire other guys.

I am not knocking the guys that took the rides. I just think the way this team handled the whole thing was very unprofessional. If they were looking at other riders, they should have never even gotten to the contract stage.

Unfortunately contracts in SX/MX are not worth the paper they are printed.

it's a sad state of affairs really, Very few on both sides keep their agreements.

Plus we have this weird thing going on that people are buying rides instead of earning them, unfreaking believable really.

So now Teams have a new option, get paid to support a rider or pay a rider. Money wins out most of the time.

One doesn't need to be a professional in this business to know that there are good people and bad people in EVERY business. It's just getting to know who is bad and who is good that turns out to be the big problem.

Hey dumbass a few points:

When you sign contracts you're supposed to be a grown up or have one look it over for you. You have to take responsibility for the deals you sign. How much due diligence was done to make sure it was a deal that was going to be kept? Any at all?

Virtually every form of Motorsports has "buy your ride" participants. It is a fact of racing life.

Finally, mxdancer speaking out against a sponsor is not a good idea in a public forum. It may have gone down exactly as you described it but it won't matter if you get a bad rep. There is a time and a place and this isn't it.

First of all...we taught our kids and our grandkids to trust people at their word. BIG MISTAKE on our part for sure.

Second...As long as Michael was given a bike that could get him into the first turn in a decent place he was able to consistently make every main event and finished consistenly in the top 20. He even put their bike in the top 10. (Unheard of for this team.) He brought more sponsors to their program. He believed they would reward him with a better deal for 09. He did his job....but, they didn't live up to their part of the agreement.

Third... I did not mention any sponsor by name. So you are either guessing or fishing. Not sure which. But, it don't matter. Teams that are doing this to young riders should be exposed. It's not the first time a Blose has fought for what's right and it probably won't be the last.

Fourth....I made this thread to make aware to the powers-that-be (whoever they are) that both boys needed a ride for 09. Someone else insisted on knowing all the details.

Its tough out there this year with teams folding and the economy being so shitty! There are going to be a lot of great riders riding for free! (Butler Bros is going to have alot of riders to choose from) So all the good riders 8-20th unfortunatly will be diggin money out of there own pocket and possibly buying bikes. That is the harsh reality! Good luck to michael and chris. Does Cole Gress not have any satelite teams he could place the boys on?

MXDancer,
There are rumors of Jordan Racing wanting to start a SX/MX team. Although it may seem like a long shot, has anyone or any friends of the family made any attempts to contact Jordan Racing on possible team opportunities? Also, are the rumors correct that suzuki fun center won't support them again because they are "looking for more experienced riders?" I know for a fact they have no riders as of now that they are supporting for the 09 sx season. Maybe it's a good thing to try for again.

The boys loved riding for Fun Center. Totally professional, well organized and extremely well managed team concerned for their riders well being, safety, etc. etc. I have not heard that said, but know they are an 'SX Lites only' team.

I have personally, never heard of Jordan Racing. I will pass this info along to the boys. Do you have any contact info?

I have applied within Riley Racing and I'm now concerned with their interest in me after hearing what they've done to one of their own riders. Jordan Racing is owned by Micheal Jordan. He has a sportbike team and is interested in starting a SX/MX team. I'm trying to get contact information myself. I know there is an instructor within MMI that is making an attempt to contact him personally in consideration for the boys. Are Mike and Chris not riding SX lites this year?

This first part is perfect for what i have to say about this team...

This team we speak of does not give a shit about there riders one bit! ONE BIT!

How can you "Suspend" then Fire a mechanic because he took the riders to get food because they were starving after racing because the team didnt properly nutrition there riders! Why are the riders having to bring there own water and lunch on race day? but sometimes they dont have to?

I Dont really care anymore. Id honestly feel more comfortable with the Blose Bros on their own bikes than those guys...

Michael would prefer to ride 450 class. Chris doesn't have a preference. Both prefer a deal for both SX and MX.
